Welcome to Cedar Nook in the foothills of the Shawangunk Mountains! This site is located on the outskirts of the Minnewaska State Park Preserve, keeping you in walking and biking proximity to trailheads and lakes. The camp is settled on 2.6 acres of natural forest with a stream running alongside, and is surrounded by thousands of acres of hike-able preserve. You'll be a 20-minute drive from the historic town of New Paltz, NY, where the hiking and biking opportunities continue, along with unique shops and restaurants. Mohonk Preserve and the River-to-Ridge trail are some of our favorite local attractions. Our property features a hand-pump well with access to groundwater, electricity for RV hook-ups, an outhouse, and a fire pit. Cedar Nook has spots for tent camping, as well as a recently renovated camper with access to electricity and water available for rent.
