Was an awesome 3 days in the woods. We intended to hike, but we ended up just lazing around the campsite for an entire 3 days hahaha. I set a new max range on archery target shooting.
Great place for both primitive and cabin camping. Fantastic outhouse. There are neighbors with dogs that get a little excited for the first few hours about your presence, but they chill out. There are also working farmers that have equipment in the area. Just be aware there will be some human sounds.
That said, we saw no other humans in 3 days, which was wonderful. Would highly recommend if you aren't quite ready for deep backwoods with the bears, but have no interest in public campgrounds with 50 other people.

Catskill Woodland Retreat.
Amazing weekend! Camp was everything we expected and wanted for a weekend away! Our host even showed us a few tricks! Thanks Bob! It’s very remote, yet so close to civilization if you’ve forgot something! We were able to hear all of nature’s sounds! We had a few chipmunks, squirrels and some butterflies as visitors! We could hear the deer roaming around while we sat and enjoyed our morning drinks! It was a little slice of heaven! Thank you!!
