2 sites.: Robin's Hood and Lola's Loop. Both wooded and natural. short walk to town for restaurants or supplies. Woodpeckers, deer, rabbits .opossums, racoons live there too. Plenty of kindling on grounds. Bring camperLoo or shovel. Labyrinth on premesis Robin's Hood spacious site has table, kindling to pick up, raised copper campfire, walnut trees, a grassy slope where deer frolic by dry streambed. Park at the site which is down a gravel driveway. Lola’s Loop site is smaller and very private enclosed in natural habitat accessible by short path. Metal campfire holder. No toilet or furniture. Close to: Appalachian Trail, Long Path, Woodbury Common. West Point and Storm King Art Center, Hudson River

The site is on grass surrounded by trees and a field . There is a dry stream bed next to it and plenty of kindling. It is large enough for 3 tents and vehicles but you go down a steep gravel driveway to reach it.

This is a private clearing on a path hemmed in by woods and reached by a short path, You can park close. Lola’s loop is a new site, wild, with two trees and a fire grill. Robin was great and so was her property! We booked very last minute and she still met us and offered us a place to stay catered to our needs and our dog!

A great lil spot/getaway from the city to reconnect with nature! My pup Pigeon and I were warmly welcomed by both Robin and Shirley and felt safe as can be. After scouring the town for a camping chair (practically heckled out of Home Depot since it’s “off season”..lol) Shirley was kind enough to lend us one that had me cozied up to the fire in no time! Felt at ease throughout the night, albeit some road noise, overall very much enjoyed our little romp. Would recommend!

Lola’s Loop in the Woods
First time camping with our son and it was perfect. Robin greeted us, led us to our site, and showed us where we could collect firewood. The campsite is small, but lovely and you completely forget there is anyone around you.

We didn't stay long at Robin's since we were only there for a race the next day. But it was the perfect place to sleep and hang out for breakfast. I hope to be back!

Robin was so accommodating, communicative, and kind! She brought us sweet treats (and brought our dog a treat!) after a long day of riding our bikes. The spot was lovely and quiet, and it was easy to get to Bear Mountain and the Heritage Rail trail.

We loved camping on Robin’s land. It feels like a small oasis in the foot hills of Harriman state park. Robin greeted us when we arrived and made sure we knew where everything we needed during our stay was at. There are plenty of hikes and shopping to keep you busy while not at camp. We would definitely stay here again.

Robin is such a lovely host and the campsite was very neat and private with a fireplace. She kindly offered us some wood to start our fire. Just make sure to bring your own camp chair and table. We really enjoyed hanging out by the fire in our hammock and we will definitely be back. Thank you so much Robin!

Robin and her property were both fantastic! Serene, beautiful, and kind to us. The privacy made us feel like we weren't on anyone's property, it was really special. There is a little noise from the road but I put in earbuds and white noise and it was fine, but I'm also a light sleeper. Highly recommend!

I’d highly recommend camping at Robin’s Hood! My partner and I took a bus from nyc to get there and were able to bus to Storm King art Center as well! Robin was a lovely host and showed us the site and firewood upon arrival.

We really loved Robin’s place, she is lovely a host. The place was great, easy access, great space for tents, lots of trees, and quiet. It was close to parks, lakes, hiking trails. Really recommended!!

Robin’s land was exactly what I needed. I wanted to get away from the city, test some new equipment, and spend a night out in nature. I was lucky to have good weather most of the day, followed by a beautiful rain in the middle of the night that made the whole experience even better. Robin was warm, helpful, and a star host. I’ll definitely be back—and I definitely recommend it.

Robin was incredibly kind and hospitable. This was a perfect place for me and my dog. The area felt very peaceful and Robin went above and beyond to offer her help if needed. Would definitely come back.

We had a wonderful experience at Robin's! It is a great location (easy 10 min drive to Storm King, where we were headed) with a nice breakfast diner right down the street. The campsite was private and secluded with plenty of firewood for the firepit.
