What a beautiful place to stay. Very well maintained. We camped beside the creek which was lovely and peaceful. The hot shower was great!

This stay didn’t go how we thought it would. No one was around for check-in, two campers were already set up, but one was in the area we were told not to go, and the other in the area we thought we were supposed to be (100m in from the front gate, but no clear signage), but the father camper was very frustrated we had invaded “their” space. At 5pm the ride on mower started and kept going until just before 8pm, that’s when the whipper snipping (in the dark mind you) started. Before light had gone down my wife had just begun walking up to the amenities when a small car with about 3 young shirtless men sped past, coming up onto the gravel pitch and away from the big dips in that are in the road, spraying dust and gravel up in the air, as if they hadn’t even seen my wife. They sped all the way up into the hill, by then another camper had arrived and they just stood there flabbergasted that not only is someone speeding right past their two young kids in the camp, but sprayed dust up and had us all coughing. Several cars that were not apart of the camp went up and down from the far trees and through the camp at all hours of the night, at least one every hour. The relocatable buildings looked super trashy and gave the camp an unsafe feel. The toilet walls had poop smeared on them. It is such a shame that small things that could be improved with so much ease have not been seen to, as this space has enormous potential to be the oasis it is supposed to be. $60+/night is robbery.

Solitude and tranquility.

The stay at campsite 2 was what we wanted. It was quiet and peceful. We loved the trees and rainforest plants as well as listening to the birdlife and the creek. We stayed for 2 nights joined by different travelers each night. They were pleasant and did their own thing. The amenities were clean and more than adequate. Hosts were helpful. Would go back.

Beautiful property and super responsive and friendly host, we got there at 8:30pm and left super early the next day, so unfortunately we didn’t get to enjoy the property during daylight. Very close to rivers and the surrounding national park. Great facilities to have a hot shower after a long day and loved that the shower gel was provided. We did have an uncomfortable encounter with another camper when we asked politely if they could keep their dog away from our car (we were far away and our dog was restrained, but she is a rescue and so wanted to keep some space from off-lead dogs). Totally get that this is a dog-friendly camp ground, but it’s still courtesy to respect other’s space. The guy was rude and made us feel so unwelcome. Totally not a reflection of the property though, just the only reason why we didn’t feel settled near them and why we left without saying hello! Thanks for having us!

A beautiful escape.

This place is a little slice of paradise! The most stunning views, quiet, waking up to a chorus of bird song, it was beautiful. Wish the top camp was open by the creek and I must warn it is 30mins to the closest anything which isn't an issue if you looking for a break away from life. Would 100% go back again!

Overall this is a very clean and well set up camp site, toilets and showers are that of a big 4 which was great for us with kids. Hosts are very helpful and accomodating. Campsite 1 is currently closed but looks fantastic. Campsite 2 is fairly small in comparison and campers were in close proximity. The creek in this space is pretty average and the waterfall shown is a 1hr rock hop up the valley. Overall not what we were after but thats just us.

The powered campsite was not very nice. It was right next to 3 big demountable buildings which were gross. The main lovely campsite was closed, which wasn’t advertised, so we ended up using a random unpowered spot which was nicer than the other area. Definitely felt like the photos showed the nicer campsite or at least didn’t show the reality of the site we had booked. Disappointing after travelling a fair way.

Very peaceful. Lovely amenities. The creek was nice to listen to but not really suitable for anything other than a dunk under the water. No real complaints. Was quite pricey per night. Beautiful place though.

An amazing property with beautiful manicured lawns providing clean and level camp sites. However, the back part of the property which is on the lovely river with rock pools to cool off in was not available for us to camp at. This area was completely empty and campers were just using the front entry areas which is not a swimming area. Due to the very warm weekend this was disappointing and we felt we weren’t getting anywhere near our value for money. We had paid for 2 camp sites .

Oasis of Hope is one of the most beautiful campgrounds we have ever stayed in. Stunning location right next to lush rainforest and a waterfall with swimming holes. Expansive mown green lawns meant that the ground never felt dusty or dirty and the owner was very friendly and welcoming. Great amenities block, they even supply eco shower gel. We will definitely be back!

We love our stay at the Oasis of Hope, the property is perfectly maintained, beautiful views, a lots of nice spot for swimming, the water was crystal clear in the creek, the camp site was very good size. The amenities was great, shower, toilets, family friendly. We had a super relaxing 3 nights there, done a lots of bike riding, racquet sports, card games, and swimming etc, we just love the peaceful and tranquillity of the surroundings. We went to the Coramba Hotel for lunch on Sunday, it was great, only a very short drive, but have great food, even have a live band there that afternoon, it was so lovely. We will definitely come back again to stay. Thank you so much Lars for providing great service and top job for keeping the property so beautiful. Shar

From the tranquil creek to the lush forest backdrop, it’s the kind of place that instantly helps you slow down and breathe. What really made the stay special was Lars. He was an absolute gentleman — genuinely welcoming, easy to talk to, and incredibly accommodating. From the moment I spoke with him, it felt like he truly cared about making sure guests felt comfortable and at home. That kind of hospitality makes all the difference. If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing camping spot with a great atmosphere and a host who goes above and beyond, Oasis of Hope is the place. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone wanting a peaceful escape. 🌿⛺️
