I had a truly relaxing and enjoyable stay at Little River Mountain Camp. The property is nestled in a quiet forest, offering beautiful views, fresh mountain air, and the soothing sound of a stream running through the property. It felt private, peaceful, and very rejuvenating.
The cedarwood hot tub was a highlight—perfect temperature, tucked among the trees, and with peek-a-boo views of the surrounding mountains. After a dip in the cold stream (yes, cold plunge!), it felt amazing. The tent is rustic yet comfortable, featuring a wood stove that provides a pleasant warmth and a solar outlet for charging devices.
There’s a private shared solar shower and outhouse on site, both of which are very clean and well-maintained. My campsite had a picnic table, a fire ring, and everything I needed for a comfortable stay. While there is some light construction on the land, it didn’t interfere with the peaceful atmosphere at all.
Shera, the host, was incredibly kind, helpful, and quick to respond. You can tell she cares about the land and wants her guests to have a good experience.
This is an excellent spot if you’re looking to disconnect, enjoy nature, and feel refreshed. I’d recommend it and hope to return soon.
