Nestled between Cloudcroft and Mayhill, just off Hwy 82 at mile marker 29, Lazy Day Cabins & RV Hideaway offers a unique blend of tranquility and adventure, making it the perfect getaway for nature lovers and families alike. Our central location provides easy access to breathtaking mountain views and a variety of sightseeing opportunities, ensuring that every visitor can experience the beauty of the area. As the Chief of the Mayhill Volunteer Fire Department, I have also accepted a position with Otero County Emergency Services. For the quickest response regarding reservations, please text me at 575-322-2329. If texting is not an option, feel free to call and leave a voicemail, and I will return your call as soon as possible. Since my wife and I purchased Lazy Day Cabins in September 2006, we have been dedicated to enhancing the property, with ongoing improvements visible each month. Be sure to visit our Improvements page to see what we have accomplished and what exciting plans we have for the future. Our accommodations include seven pet-friendly cabins, three smoke-free motel rooms, and ten spacious RV sites with full hook-ups. We also feature a large covered pavilion equipped with an enclosed kitchen and a gas grill, making it an ideal spot for family reunions and church retreats
