We are a 2.5-acre farm on the mesa of New Mexico. We love to raise our animals and grow our own food. Being in the desert, we try to be water-wise as far as raising our vegetables and we try to compost our own soil.  We raise chickens, ducks, rabbits, and turkeys. Also on the farm, we have our 2 horses. Feel free to check out our blog: javelinarange.wixsite.com/javelinarange

PEACE
The Javelina Range 🖤 First off, I was travelling alone with 2 doggies for my birthday. Sam & Kyle could not have been more friendly and respectful of that fact. I felt extremely safe in that private little haven. It just so happens to be a brief drive from some of the most spectacular sights I've ever seen. All recommended by my wonderfully knowledgeable hosts! Dont be afraid to reach out for recommendations on where to adventure for the day or the most accurate directions you'll receive. I was not able to get the quaint wood stove going during my stay but promise next time I will. The bed was comfortable enough to keep me in it an entire lazy day of my stay. If you want peace, quiet, and a lovely bunch of beautiful little creatures surrounding you (like cute goats, kind horses, bunnies, ducks, turkeys, chikens and roosters that promise to wake you into a gorgeous sunrise!) -The Javeline Range is your next stay. Peak your head out at night and give in to the glowing wonders of the Milky Way and how beautiful it is to feel small.

It was so nice to stay with Sam! Highly recommend if you travel around this area. They gave us the tour of their farm and experience the horse riding!

Cozy farmhouse casita
We loved staying here! It was so much fun meeting all of the animals, and Samantha was a lovely host. We’ll definitely be coming back!

This little casita is private and secure. It’s heated by a somewhat finicky wood stove that once beguiled is Very eager to keep you warm! (My hosts were generous enough to not accept payment for their firewood And started the first fire for me!) The bed is very comfortable and well appointed. The areas were all as clean as you’d expect a well cared for rustic property to be. My hosts were both friendly and well informed but willing to respect space and privacy. (They provided amazing homemade bread on my arrival!) Only slight issue was WiFi was listed in ad but when I inquired was told it was not accessible at casita, not a huge deal as excellent Verizon coverage. The bathroom is as listed a half bath with plenty of hot water but no tub or shower.
