Bosque Del Rio is quiet and peaceful, set along the Rio Grande on the outskirts of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. It’s the perfect secluded and safe base for travel, offering in-town dry camping.
There are three locations to choose from, each with its own privacy.
Rowan is a friendly host and quick to respond.
There’s a locked gate at the beginning of the driveway—you’ll need a code to enter—which adds an extra layer of security to the camp.
The property has water, electric, and its own river swim deck, as shown in the photos. The water level was too low during my winter visit for swimming, but a summer trip might be in my future. The deck was still wonderful for morning Pilates.
I would definitely recommend Bosque Del Rio Camp if you’re car, tent, van, or RV camping and are self-contained.
