Private Rio Grande RV Sites w/ Deck – Quiet + Close to Hot Springs Secluded, quiet camping directly on the Rio Grande, just 2.5 miles from the Hot Springs District in Truth or Consequences. Ideal for travelers, campers, and hot springs visitors looking for a peaceful riverfront stay. This is a low-density, private camping area —not a crowded RV park. 🏕️ Site Options 🚐 RV Camp Site (Water + 30 Amp Electric) RV space, Water hookup, 30 amp electric hookup, Picnic Table River Access 🚐 Upstream and Downstream Camps – RV / Camp Sites (Water Only) Water access (shared central spigot), Suitable for: Small RVs (self-contained), Vans / truck campers, Tent campers River Access ⛺ Site 4 – Tent Only Primitive campsite, No hookups but water access. River access **Important Details (Please Read Before Booking) River Camp is a bird sanctuary and is located on the edge of town No septic / sewer hookups available RVs must be self-contained or plan to use local dump station Quiet, low-impact use only Not a commercial RV park—this is a private property Max RV length: 25 feet No generators 🌿 What Makes This Unique Direct Rio Grande access Private deck overlooking the river Only a four sites total, plus host—no crowding 2.5 miles to Hot Springs District (downtown Truth or Consequences) Close to hot springs, but with a secluded feel Spacious Camp Sites Easy access Pets allowed, but on leash We kindly ask that pets do not chase wildlife and please do not leave poop behind :) River camp sits between Elephant Butte and Caballo Lake. River Camp is bordered by 15,000 acres of public lands open space. The flow of Rio Grande varies seasonally. Peak flow is May 1-June 30. Summer, fall and winter have much reduced water levels. If you plan to raft the Rio, come early in the season! Host vacations on site in a 1992 Sierra Forest River. If host is not on site, she can always be reached by phone.
