River Retreat
Great spot to see the night sky
Great spot, a long drive, but such a beautiful sunset! The night sky is just amazing as well!
Saw a heard of white tail deer an heard the coyotes howling in the distance. The hosts were great, there is a very cute clean outhouse and a well pump for water. Electricity was available as well.

Stay at Bob's!
Bob's land was pristine! Snuggled between a gigantic sandhill and the Loup, it's a place you would expect to have to fend off a menagerie of bugs and a menagerie there was. But the property was so well cared for that I didn't have to fend off a single bug. It was mind bogglingly amazing! The vista was beautiful and Courtney's hard working goats, who greeted us enthusiastically, were a delightful addition! A wonderful overnight.

River Retreat
Peaceful and relaxing!
Bob's HipCamp site was a great overnight spot for my sister, my dog, and I to stay at during our road trip passing thru the state. Beautiful property! The river and domestic critters (goats, donkey, etc.) in the area made for an at-home feel of relaxation and peace. The space provided for a nice big area for my dog to run around off-leash. For those who are light sleepers, note there is a train track system nearby, but it wasn't an issue for us. I would definitely recommend this site to folks passing thru!

Fun spot, river was great!
Great Spot and we loved hopping in the river! Very low key area, easy to find and sleep was comfortable. Trains to go by, but less at night and it added to the country vibe!

River Retreat
Nice neighbors and Peaceful River
We loved Bob's place! It was easy to find and Bob and his neighbors are super friendly. Bob took us up river to put our kayaks in and had a great time on the river. And his neighbor even stopped by and offered us some cucumbers and zucchini fresh out of their garden! Great small community but plenty of quiet and privacy too!
