Spacious, level camping well-suited for travel trailers over 40 ft long.
Full RV hookups
Electrical, water, and sewage hookups are available at select sites.
We do require a form to be signed upon reservation. This is a PMA, which means you agree to the terms and conditions of the property. This is setup to allow private camping on my land. If you can't electronically sign, we ask that you sign upon arrival. River Road RV Camp & Storage is 3/4 of a mile off of HWY 87 and 2 miles north of Hobson. We use 5 acres for camping tent or RV. The Judith River is just down the road. If you enjoy hiking, the mountains are just minutes away. Ackley Lake is a short drive for fishing, swimming and boating. Crystal lake would be a perfect day trip. While on your drive to the mountains you can seek out Charlie Russell's sod cabin. We are close to where the local Yogo Sapphires are mined. There are local establishments who sell jewelry made with these fine stones. There are local favorite eating establishments in the area to try as well.

Site 3 - Judith River RV and Camp
Super convenient- less than a mile off our route. Though we stayed at an unserviced site, Lisa has added several amenities to this camp like a dump station and building out full service sites. The unserviced sites are spread out with picnic tables and fire pits. The sunset and sun rise was spectacular. Next stay at Lisa’s I’m looking forward to exploring the lake at the nearby state park.

Judith River RV is just getting started, but Lisa has already created several spacious sites and a super clean portable toilet. It was very conveniently on our route from Great Falls to Denver. We came just for the night, and found a very warm welcome and an iconic Montana Big Sky. So peaceful. Wish we’d had a bit more time to enjoy it! Found a great breakfast at the 618 in nearby Lewistown before hitting the road.

Very quiet piece of land with some horses next door. Flat, level area to park on. The host was extremely nice and helpful with recommendations on where to eat.

Lisa was a wonderful host and incredibly accommodating when we arrived later than initially planned. She gave us the most amazing food recommendation for breakfast the next day as well!

What a great place to stay. When my wife and I arrived Lisa came down to help us with a small problem that had arose, which goes to speak highly of our host. Lisa gave us recommendations for places to eat, which is always nice to have. The views were spectacular. We would absolutely stay here again without question.

Very affordable stop on our travels

Judith River RV and Camp
The camp was easy to find and about a half of a mile from the hiway. We had to change sites because of our trailer, and Lisa, the host, was very flexible in accommodating our move. The porta-potty was very clean and stocked. Also, there was a water hose that could reach any of the sites which helped us top up our water tank. Took the dogs for a walk down the gravel road which was not busy at all. All said, my wife and I would give it a 5 star rating, and we’ll be back again.
