Located just 2.1 miles from Camdenton, this campsite feels like it’s tucked deep in the countryside. We’re only 1/4 mile from Possum Hollow Cove at Lake of the Ozarks, with access to a bathroom that includes running water and a shower. A stairway leads up a steep hill where you can explore the wooded areas. Choose your camping spot—either near the creek and shaded woods or closer to the bathrooms. Once you’ve picked your area, we’ll set up a fire pit for you to enjoy.Place your tent under the shade of three large walnut trees. It is the closest to the bathroom facilities.

A quiet night under a full moon

I spent the day hiking the trails around Ha Ha Tonka State Park and wanted to find a campsite nearby. I am not a fan of large campgrounds that cater more to RVs - which is why I was searching Hip Camp for other options. Diana’s place was exactly what i was looking for… a nice quiet place, off the beaten path. The bathroom was nice and the water was hot!

An absolute gem! What wonderful hosts! The property was beautiful and the hosts were just the sweetest people ever! If you want to stay close to HA HA this is the place! I will definitely be back! And if you go make sure you take your time to pet their sweet dogs who love to greet you! It was an absolute amazing get away thanks for the stay! And would be happy to return next year!
