Ozarks 38 Special is a hit among campers looking for a spot that combines relaxation with a touch of luxury. Campers consistently rave about the stunning lake views, immaculate facilities, and the welcoming atmosphere created by both the staff and fellow guests. The infinity pool, outdoor grilling areas, and spacious sites contribute to a memorable stay. While the location is generally quiet and peaceful, it's also close enough to the local attractions for those wanting to explore further.

Prime Lake Front# 5
The turn on the main rd “Purvis’ is not RV friendly. I destroyed an 1800..00 tow bar. Be careful if flat towing. This is not the RV parks fault or issue, but ruined our trip. Also the booking App. Used my old email address from Facebook. The property was unable to fix this., So iIt was a pain to get the code for the gate and I could not ever use the App. So not sure if it is good or not.

Luxury RV Resort, for real!

Sandy Beach# 25
A quiet, nicely laid out RV Park. We have stayed at a lot of RV Luxury “Resorts” over the years and this one is a Luxury Resort. Mr Kelly was the host and he made certain that we were happy with the park. The bath house, laundry room, pool, outdoor dining area were all spotless. We were there for only a few days, late Sept and early Oct, so the area was not overrun with vacationers. I see these sites might be for sale, that is too bad since it is a beautiful RV vacation spot.

Very Nice RV Campground! We were in #8; we decided to pull in (we have a motorhome) so we could enjoy the river / lake view in the AM! All was clean - bathrooms, grounds. Kelly was a great host / RV park manager. Helped us with set up / firewood, and helped me with my flat tow setup. We will come again here if we pass by!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Such a great experience at Ozarks 38 Special! My 9-year-old daughter, our 2½-year-old dog, and I had an amazing time staying here. We swam in the infinity pool, grilled out with our neighbors, jumped in the lake and swam right off the dock, and genuinely had a blast. Everyone we met was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the whole place had such a relaxing, laid-back energy. It was the perfect combination of lake life, good people, and making memories with my daughter. The atmosphere is seriously a total vibe. We loved our time at Ozarks 38 Special and will definitely be back. If you’re looking for a fun, relaxing place at the Lake of the Ozarks where you can unwind, meet great people, and enjoy the water, this is it! ⭐️

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ozarks 38 Special was seriously such a vibe! My 9-year-old daughter, our 2½-year-old pup, and I had the best time. From swimming in the infinity pool and jumping in the lake right off the dock to grilling with our neighbors, it was the perfect little getaway. What really made it special was the atmosphere. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, and the whole place had this relaxed, laid-back lake energy that made it easy to forget about everything else and just enjoy the moment. We laughed, swam, relaxed, met some great people, and made memories that my daughter and I will definitely remember. If you’re looking for somewhere that feels fun, comfortable, family-friendly, and like your own little lake community, Ozarks 38 Special is definitely worth checking out. We came home already talking about going back! ❤️🌊☀️🐾 10/10 — good people, good energy, and even better memories.

We went with the intention to stay two nights. We enjoyed the atmosphere and all the friendly people and ended up staying an extra night. We enjoyed karaoke Kelly and the pool. It was very nice and clean the entire time. The campground was well kept, and in a nice quiet location. We do have plans on going back again in the future.

Absolutely in love with this place! The best views we’ve ever had staying at the lake plus the small town vibes of the west side makes it a perfect fit for us! Sarah and Kelly made us feel so welcome and right at home and having the pool right outside our door didn’t hurt either!

Great Lakefront RV Resort

Prime Lake Front# 12
We had a great stay at 38 Special. The resort is very well maintained, quiet, and has beautiful views of the lake. The sites are nicely set up with plenty of room to relax outside, and the overall property has a more upscale feel than a typical RV campground. The location was also great for exploring the Lake of the Ozarks while still having a peaceful place to come back to. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay at 38 special! Great location and the sites and facilities are SOOOO nice. Clean and level. The table, chairs, and Solo stove are high quality nice furniture. Most sites are right on the water with others just feet away so the view is always good. We really enjoyed the swim beach and dock and the pool is great. Everyone there is super nice as well. We are looking forward to going back!

Super affordable, fun & kiddo so had a blast! Close to pool to keep eye on kiddos, everything needed. Even to bbq, we had table & 4 chairs & own 🔥 pit. Very clean & friendly!

We had a great stay at this RV site in the Ozarks! Being right on the water was amazing, with beautiful views and plenty of time to relax by the lake. The pool was great for cooling off, and we really enjoyed the BBQ area for grilling and hanging out. Overall, a fun and relaxing spot—we’d definitely stay here again!

Sara made the check in process super easy. She was right there anytime I needed. The campground is immaculate and so quite. I almost don't want anyone to know about it so we will always have a spot available. We will definitely be back!
