This campsite offers a peaceful escape on a working farm, with friendly hosts and a charming rural setting. Guests appreciate the quiet atmosphere, friendly animals like kittens and a dog named Spot, and the accommodating nature of the hosts, Sarah and her family. While the farm is bustling with life, it remains a tranquil spot for relaxation and is conveniently located for those passing through. Some campers noted the proximity to the host's property might feel less private, but overall, the farm provides a welcoming and restful environment.

Lovely working farm; calves and steers and cats and kittens (I doubt there are mice in the barns) and ducks and a dog, Spot. Country roads to walk. Quiet.

Sarah was so welcoming and warm, along with her pup and cows. They provided a quiet relatively even spot for my camper, where I quietly spent my weekend getaway. I would absolutely recommend.

We enjoyed on stay on Sarah’s land. We were just passing through and needed a place to stay and her spot was perfect for what we needed. She was great at communicating as we had a couple of questions and even came out to show us where the toilet was. We loved seeing all of her animals on her land, especially her little baby kitten JellyBean.

Great communication, super friendly and informative. Beautiful farm area that offers privacy and shade. Would highly recommend.
We loved Rasset Family Farm! Sarah, her kids and their dog spots were super friendly. Our dogs loved the freedom to run and play. It was a quiet enjoyable environment. They had a lot of rain prior to us arriving in our 45’ Freightliner Newmar Super C and we were a little concerned but when we arrived Sarah greeted us and gave us options on where we could park that were easy to access on hard packed roadways. We will be back! We HIGHLY recommend staying here, easy access to interstate to the cities, restaurants, Walmart and shops a few minute drive from their farm.

We loved our stay! Our 9 & 11 year old daughters were enthralled with all the animals (kittens, calves and a well behaved dog). Thanks for a great night!
We really enjoyed camping here. All of the animals, especially spot the dog, were a great additional to our normal camping experience. The place is a lot more serene than you expect from the photos, but the sunrise over the farm in the morning was very beautiful! We would come back!
Stopped off on a road trip with my pup. Beautiful moonrise, beautiful sunrise, sweet family.
We enjoyed the site and the location to nearby small towns. Sarah provided us firewood and we had access to a cassette toilet. We used the 30amp site (we only need 15) because it had a concrete pad to park our little pull behind on. They had cows, cats, and a camp chicken and dog. The kids even gave us a cat tour.

The site was very open and chill, not particularly private if that's what you need. Definitely would stay again! Very nice family!

This is where the word "bucolic" comes from! Our hosts were lovely and welcoming while also giving us our space. It was a beautiful setting with the open fields, the cows and many bird songs to greet us in the morning. (I think we collected 20 on our Merlin birdsong app.)

The farm is very peaceful and quiet…not even a morning rooster crowing! We stayed here because it was a the closest we could get to families in Minneapolis on our very short notice., and it worked well. 45 minute drive to the city and some fun little towns in between. We would return.

Beautiful and peaceful! Easy to find and Sarah was there to greet us. Had a picnic table and fire pit.
We stayed in our pickup camper to test if it was viable for winter camping and it went well. The site is right next to their barn at the bottom of a small hill. The owners were good about keeping the dirt road up the hill from the barn plowed each morning. As the snow melted, it was a bit muddy so be aware if mud is an issue for you. We threw our boots on and were fine. We were away most of the time during daylight hours so I can't speak to how quiet it is during the day time, but at night it was peaceful. They do have a little dog that roams loose at all times and likes to visit if it notices you out and about. We didn't have any issues and the site served us well.
