Located on the Kettle River and close to the Soo Line Trail, we have four campsites for rent. Each site includes a fire ring, picnic table, hammock, and clothesline. There is a sauna on our property with a privacy fence around it. Wood and water are provided in the sauna, and there is a gravity shower outside the sauna. We also have camping stoves available if needed with 16 oz propane tanks for sale. An outhouse is located near the four sites, and a trail encircles the entire campground. The trail takes you along the river, where you can jump in for a swim or go tubing down the Kettle River. We have firewood available for purchase ($5 per bundle, which is about 7-8 pieces of wood) . We also have tubes for guests to use. Jump in the water with a tube by the bridge and float to the edge of our property, where you can climb out and do it all over again! The KR Bar and Grill in town features live music on Fridays, and Barnum and Moose Lake are less than a 15-minute drive away. State parks close by include Jay Cook and Banning. Coffee shops nearby include the Chickadee in Barnum and Joe Jitters in Moose Lake, which doubles as a vendor site for kitschy items. There’s a farmers market in Moose Lake and Cloquet on Saturdays throughout the summer as well.

A peaceful, private drive-in site close to the parking lot. There is a sauna and a gravity shower for use on our property. First come first served from 6-12. Please request time increments of 2 hours at a time for the sauna/shower.

Site 4: Lobster Mushroom Manor
We came up to camp for a night on Saturday, and from the moment we arrived, we had a great experience! We met Amanda, and she was awesome. She walked us back to our site and let us get settled in. They also have firewood available for purchase, which was super convenient! We bought a few bundles, and Amanda and her husband brought it right to our site. We really appreciated that! 😊 Our site was private, well wooded, and super spacious. We were able to drive right up to our site, which made things really easy. The trees also provided great protection, so we didn’t have to worry about the wind at all. One of our favorite bonuses was that the sites are just a quick walk away from the Kettle River, which runs right along the property. 🌲🏕️ We brought our two dogs with us, and they LOVED it! There are trails throughout the property that we enjoyed walking with them. Dogs had plenty of things to sniff and explore, so they were definitely happy campers! 🐾 The whole place was private and peaceful — exactly what we were looking for. There is also a sauna and shower available, although unfortunately, we didn’t have enough time to enjoy them during our stay. We absolutely enjoyed our camping trip and will definitely be back! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful, private place to get away and enjoy nature. 💜
