Perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. The river is beautiful to watch, lots of wildlife and fantastic sunsets right in front of you. You are able to fish right from your site. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. This will be our annual fishing spot.

We loved camping at Kim’s! It was colder than we expected, but we still had a wonderful time. Staying here was a delight. Kim & Gordon were pleasant, helpful, kind, & considerate. We had the best time just sitting and watching the sunset on the dock overlooking the river and Saginaw Bay. We saw a ton of wildlife & even duck hunters would wave at us and talk to us from their boats. We will definitely be back.

We loved the peace and serenity at Kim’s. The views and sunsets were spectacular. My husband loved fishing right outside the door of our motorhome!

What a view! We spent so much time watching the Terns diving into the river for fish, herons flew directly over the site, tons of swallows... and the sunsets - WOW! Great spot for fishing (we didn't catch anything but I think that's user error and nothing to do with the location. Haha). This was a great base camp for relaxing and checking out local sites - we recommend looking up the historic Octagon Barn if you like agricultural history, and Tri City Brewing for good beer. Bay Shore Bar and Grill, 5 minutes from camp, is also great for when you don't feel like cooking!
One word of warning - we have a 25 ft travel trailer (with hitch and bumper it's closer to 30) and a Ford f-250. We drove straight down to the end of the road and thought we could back in from there. Getting backed in that way was TOUGH. A "fifty point turn" if you will. Thankfully, Kim and her husband were home and super helpful, letting us drive through their yard to maneuver better. Pulling out was no problem. In hindsight, we would have backed down the road and backed into the site that way. Sometime to consider if your set up is our size or bigger.
As hosts, they were so kind! A bundle of starter fire wood, and kept in contact during the stay to make sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely come back if we're over this way again!

My husband and I brought our converted van to Kim’s spot and we thoroughly enjoyed our night! Kim was traveling so we didn’t get to meet but she was so kind and helpful via message! The sunsets are the best around - it’s truly a special space!

This Hipcamp stay was an absolute delight! The location was idyllic, right on the water with stunning views. We had a spacious area to set up camp, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the scenery. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, even providing firewood for our campfire. It was the perfect quiet getaway, exactly what we were looking for.

My husband and I had a fantastic trip to Quanicassee river. Very peaceful spot. Lots of birds to enjoy on the river. Fishing was great too! Hosts were very nice and helpful. Will be back next year.

Great views of the river and it was fun to watch the birds and boats. Close to town to grab a bite, or hit the store. The owners were there to greet us, and we were grateful for their assistance parking our camper!

We camped 2 nights in our travel trailer. There is a cute deck built at the water with chairs and a burn pit. The view is beautiful! All sky and water! The hosts are extremely nice and accommodating and made it a great experience. Bay City is a short drive away, where we dined. Water hose from the house close by, electricity commection and a sewer for dumping when leaving. It was perfect :)

This place is so amazing. We were able to book it for three nights. The sunsets were amazing. The fact that you are literally out your camper door and behind it was a beautiful outdoor area at the shore. Campfire 🔥 was located so that you felt the warmth perfectly around all sides. Plus they had firewood there and ready for us. One side had a beautiful shore line deck with furniture and led lights. The other sides had a picnic table, and outdoor chairs, grill and more. Loved the camp host as well. Definitely going back again to see more of the local museums, fishing and more!!

Great view of the river / Saginaw Bay. I think I was 20 feet from the water. Sunset was awesome! My rv is a 36 foot 5th wheel.
