Camping site for tent camping, or RV, with water, electricity, in rural Leelanau County, close to inland lakes, and the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore. Close to all the amenities that Leelanau county has to offer. Hiking, biking, beaches, shopping, dining, wine tasting, or just relaxing with nature. Fire pit, with fire wood available on site. Hammock with frame also available. Please note that towable RV trailers over 22’ will be difficult to manage on this site because of a limited turn radius.Pull in to the driveway and curve to the left past the well into the open field between the Airstream trailer and the Canned Ham trailer. There is a fire ring with firewood, and there is power available coming from the pole barn and water available from the spigot by the well. There is no septic hookup. The site one acre total between the two lots. It is a rural meadow, and typically very quiet. There are deer, coyotes, and many birds. I have seen bobcats, black bear, and wolf tracks. The pole barn is a metal sculpture studio, and there are some on the property. I do not live on the property but am about 15 minutes away if you have any problems that need to be addressed.
