We had such a fun stay at the Riverhouse! The campsite is wonderfully maintained and situated overlooking the beautiful river. We loved relaxing and watching kayaks come through to get to the nearby rapids. Although the water was cold, it was so crystal clean and inviting, I had to take a swim! The nearby hiking trails were just a short walk to get to and we enjoyed walking the path along the river.

This is a lovely property on the river which is quite stunning. Only downside was the busy road noise and close proximity to the host residence.

I stayed here for an overnight halt, 15 minutes from traverse city where my parents were lodging in a hotel, and 15 minutes to interlochen, where i was headed the next day...so, perfectly located! spacious, clean lawn overlooking a bend in the gushing stream below made the perfect setting to pitch tents. Access to the bathroom and water spigot provided by the host was super helpful. And as noted by the host Rebecca, a jump in the river made a much better alternative to a shower that wasnt :). Final notes: She apologized for the traffic noise from the busy road...it didnt bother us as it merged with the stream's noise as we slept like babies....

Check in and hospitality Were 5 stars. Location was good, except for the traffic noise since the hose is right on a main road. River was nice but unfortunately did not drown out the traffic.

Jeramie was a great host. He greeted us upon arrival, gave us some great tips on the surrounding areas, provided a great space to camp and then sent us on our way with some goodies from his garden. I would definitely stay at the river house again.

Jeramie was a wonderful host - when we arrived, he (and his adorable dog Sage) greeted us warmly and helped show us around. The campsite itself is beautiful and spacious - while we only stayed for one night, we would've loved to stay longer! In the morning, we spent some time relaxing in the river before we left. Thank you, Jeramie, for a wonderful stay - you were such a fantastic host and we hope to camp at the Riverhouse again!

Riverhouse
Jeramie was a great host, he stayed up to make sure we found our way to our campsites on his property. Jeramie was easy-going and more than happy to answer any questions. It was a great weekend to be on the river.
