The site was great! Being able to walk through the orchard in the evening and morning was beautiful. This is definitely a great spot to camp in the fall months!

I loved tent camping on the orchard, secluded, quiet spot. Awesome views of the stars at night and the extra to get a half bushel of apples is so worth it! And the folks at the orchard are super sweet and kind!

Very beautiful nice and secluded spot, owner has a bunch of fire wood for use, hill is steep and slippery in the morning, do not be an absolute idiot like me and think it is a good idea to bring a trailer down there.

We had a great time, made lots of memories. Definitely recommend bringing a canopy so you have some shade in the late afternoon. Tom was very nice and responsive. The area is private and beautiful. We walked around the orchard and got a rain storm in the night so we left early the next morning.

My wife and i loved this camp site! They had more then enough firewood available, a large fire pit, and a bathroom within walking distance. This was our first time using the app. We didn't have any interaction with the hosts or anybody else except for an initial welcome text. The apples werent in season because its july so we bought an apple basket for nothing lol. But we felt like calling it a tip for how nice of a hipocamp it is. Our only complaint would be the bees were a little bothersome a few times. I got stung 5 times the second day. There are hives near the site so theyre more prominent then usual. I quickly lewrned if you leave them be they leave you be for the most part but if you panic they do get aggressive. If you are allergic i honestly wouldnt recommend it.

Plenty of space to walk around and is very secluded. Lots of flowers right in camp- which comes with a few bees. Be mindful of kids and animals for that reason. Our pup got a sting, but was totally fine and learned a lesson lol. Unfortunately we went at a time of year where apples were not available. We weren’t told this before booking and had purchased an extra bucket which was disappointing. We could have googled that though. Overall lovely stay, we would gladly come again.

Owner was incredibly responsive. Location was pretty, and private however the property and space for the site needed maintenance (mowed, straightened up, etc.). Don't believe the space was worth the "premium" price VS other listings in the surrounding area.

Tom is a great host, very responsive to text messages when I needed him, though he gave us our space during our stay. This spot is a total gem, acres of orchards and farmland surrounding it, and it sits nestled back into his land beneath some large trees and between many rows of apple trees. We had an amazing time here, it was peaceful and secluded. We didn't see or hear anyone the two days that we were here. Be sure to check yourself for ticks after leaving. The nights were cool and peaceful aside from the sounds of coyotes, frogs and crickets. My only issue was that we didn't recieve our basket of produce, but not a huge deal!

This was a nice stay. About halfway through the night we heard a pack of coyotes howling close by, so just be aware! Alot of dog barking but at a distance. We left early in the morning due to being weary of the coyotes, if you have a sedan or trouble with traction park at the top of the hill, the grass gets wet and makes it difficult to get back up. Otherwise this was actually an amazing stay!! I would go back, just with more awareness for the coyotes!

Stayed for two snowy nights in November with our 3 dogs and it was so peaceful and scenic. Loved having a toilet and water a short drive or walk away. Would definitely come back during a warmer season!

Absolutely amazing and perfect! beautiful views and so peaceful. Found some squash and peppers and cooked over the fire for dinner, also bought some of the best apple cider i’ve ever had from their barn. definitely coming back!

We had a great time, beautiful views of the orchard and trees, very private and peaceful with lots of stars. The host was friendly when we met him in the morning. There were plenty of apples to pick and they have tasty donuts when the farm store is open. Hope to go back again soon!

Was a great spot in late August! Quiet spot and nice fire pit. Apples were plentiful and spotted some deer and other small wildlife. Not a far drive to Lake Michigan too.

Unfortunately, we couldn't spend time in the shade because it was too close to the farm's bee hives. That many hives so close to the campsite was an interesting choice, as the bees forced us to stay in a pretty specific spot. We got chased when we got too close - like when we were trying to go to and from the bathroom. The intimacy of seeing my closest friends run screaming from angry bees is something I wouldn't have without this trip.
I think spring and fall might be the sweet spots for this site. Summer was tough because the campsite was in a bowl, and the breeze missed you for the most part.
It's probably rad when it's not bee season, but the lack of breeze and being unable to utilize shade due to bees was a bummer.

I've camped here twice. Once before the pandemic lockdown, and once afterwards. I will always come back to this site.
It's clean, serene, and has breathtaking views if you venture out for a stroll through the orchard. There's a massive woodpile of Applewood logs for you to use without paying extra. The caretaker, Gonzalo, is such a great person and extremely personable.
Just make sure you watch the weather forecast for wind because you're at the bottom of a hill and it gets difficult to pack up your tent if you're alone.

Camping in this apple orchard was perfection! We loved having the entire place to ourselves. It was the perfect spot for us to hang with our friends and be out in nature. It was really fun to see the apple blossoms starting to bloom and watching the bees do their thing. Even though there were folks working on the farm, that didn't ruin the feeling of solitude for us. About once a day a truck would drive by, nothing distracting. The bathroom wasn't anything special, but it worked and we had access to water which was all we needed for our two day stay. I would definitely come back here, especially once the apple blossoms are in full bloom or when the apples are ready to be picked in the fall!
Side Note: The towns in this area are also super cute if you're a camp and shop type of person.

Such a great place to camp and relax for the weekend! There was fire wood available right at the site and chairs available to us which was super convenient. We paid for a basket which was totally worth it as we had the opportunity to pick apples and other produce with it!

Really cool spot nestled away in an orchard.
Be aware of the popular apple picking seasons. We went in mid-September on a Saturday and the camp site area had quite a few people walking by it. Was only an issue for me as zi hadn’t planned to keep my dog on a leash.

We had a lovely time at the orchard! Great little spot for an overnight trip, quiet, beautiful farm, and lots of stars on a clear night. Site was easy to find, well stocked with wood (though a lot were a bit damp), clean portapotty, camping grate was a little rickety but we made do. Enjoyed picking some apples and grabbing donuts on our way out. Thanks for sharing your farm and hospitality with us!

This is kind of a perfect HipCamp. Quiet, rural, authentic, but not too far off the beaten path. And it’s nice to have a bathroom onsite. Pretty orchard. You basically drive down a dirt road into the middle of a nice orchard and camp in a grassy swale surrounded by a copse of large shade trees. Happily stay here again if I’m in the area.

We loved our stay on the farm. The campsite feels very secluded and peaceful. There was plenty of wood available, we picked up some cut dry wood from a gas station as well. The road through the farm and the hill down to the campsite were a little rough but I had no trouble in my Nissan Versa. We look forward to staying here again.
