Private wooded area very close to purgatory chasm. Beautiful fall views. Host was responsive and friendly! Would stay again.
We had a great time with Lukas! He is very knowledgeable about the local plant life, and we really enjoyed the guided tour. The farm is so cool, and it was wonderful to see what he's done with the property and his future plans for it. We especially enjoyed the fire pit and the cute stove built into it. We would definitely return to the campsite if we are in the area again.

Super peaceful, quiet, and private. Beautiful drive in and comfortable patch lay your head.
Was exactly what we needed for a place to stay while traveling! Lukas gave great directions and was very accommodating!
The sounds of the birds in the morning were quite peaceful! Will definitely return!
It was exactly what we were looking for: quiet, secluded with a fire pit and picnic table. Was nice to hear the farm animals from a distance and car sounds from the road through the woods didn’t bother our group at all. Slept awesome and Lucas was very nice

Site 1 Birch grove
The surrounding area was beautiful and feels disconnected from the world enough to make a nice getaway. It's located on the edge of the purgatory chasm reserve so it has a lot of good hiking. However it's also located by a busy highway, with a lot of noisy animals. I was able to tune all this out and enjoy myself but if you're looking to enjoy the quiet sounds of nature this might not be the spot for you. The property as a whole was quite messy with derelict RVs and piles of rotting scrap wood everywhere. The site to has a boulder that adds a natural barrier from the main house and a lot of the mess. The host was responsive and kind, mostly leaving us alone. Only drove by with a wave a few times. I found the camp site itself not well maintained. I had to clear a lot of tall vegetation around the fire pit. I didn't use the tent platform but it's so rotted and moldy it's more of a safety hazard. There was leftover junk on the wooden table that looked like it had been there a while. The site didn't have great parking for my 5 window Skoolie, I damaged my bumper (my fault not the hosts) just trying to maneuver into an adequate location.
I had a good time and enjoyed it enough that I will go back but can't deny this spot could use some TLC. Clearing and leveling the site a bit better would probably go a long way. Widening the entry so that a camper can actually pull in would also help.
My son and I had a great time. For those looking for a beginner camping experience or a campsite close to local attractions it’s quite nice. The highway is very close so the noise is pretty much constant, however, the anites could use some levelling and clearing, and the onsite trails need some serious maintenance. Overall a nice and affordable site with friendly management!

It was great owner so responsive… birds so cool and property is so unique.
Great rustic camp site. Lukas was friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed access to the well-tended private trails accessible from the site. Lots of beautiful stones and interesting plants around. We might have just gotten lucky with the conditions, but there were zero mosquitos or ticks, including on our dogs. It was fun to hear and see the farm animals. It's just a 6-minute drive to Purgatory Chasm.

Great spot! Wooded, privacy, perfect exploring with the pup. Nice fire pit with a grill. Owner was very hospitable, we decided to stay another night. I really liked the location. Worked great with my conversion van, plenty of space. We’ll definitely be back!
This was a great site! Nicely cleared out space for a tent while still surrounded by woods. Included a fire pit, a picnic table, and a grate to put over the fire. The spot is a good distance from the main road and the house. A couple tall wooden fences stood near the site, so good privacy. No hiking is required to get to the spot but still nicely nestled in the woods.

I had a fantastic stay at this site. The highway is close to you can hear steady traffic in the distance, but the property and camp sites are isolated, calm, and lovely for solo camping. Firewood was available throughout the property, and there were a few trails to explore! I definitely recommend camping here!

Everything was great. Instructions made things easy. Location was excellent. Felt very cozy and just enough of a forest setting to feel like camping in the wilderness instead of somebody's property.
Host was extremely friendly and helpful, went above and beyond anything I could have anticipated. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Overall the campsite and experience was great, Lukas was very accommodating for our three vehicles. There was ample firewood available, and the site was set a good distance away from the farm itself. Unfortunately a highway borders the property, so it is not quiet during the night. The wildlife at the farm is very unique and interesting but the sites are close enough to the farm that you hear bird calls from 5am onward. The site we stayed at was on a slight hill, so be careful positioning tents. At our site, the areas cleared for tents had some roots and rocks sticking out of the ground. I would recommend this property overall.

Overall a great camping spot, we were looking for somewhere close to Maple Hill Disc Golf course, and this camp was a good distance. The farm birds were a little loud in the mornings, and the site felt a little expensive for not having a fire pit or picnic table, but it was a comfortable place to stay and we had a good time! Also, Lukas sent us home with some fresh eggs which was great!
My college's outing club held our senior year camping trip on Lukas's property and it could not have gone better. Lukas is incredibly friendly and his animals (dogs, goats, ducks, chickens, etc.) are adorable. We set up camp up on the hill north from the main farm next to the tree seat. There was plenty of space to set up six tents (12 people), several hammocks, and a campfire. We will definitely be recommending this site to our younger club members.
