Powder Mill Pond Retreat Site
Moe, is a fantastic host with a very nice spot to spend a night. Fish rising in the pond all evening and although on a traveled road, privacy and peace are here. Moe visited and even brought some veggies from her garden.
Bring your own fire wood and enjoy the chiminea overlooking the pond.

Mark and Moe were very friendly and responded quickly to our questions online. Site was very quiet and shaded near the pond. Grass was cut. Getting in pulling a 20 foot trailer was a little tricky and I definitely wouldn’t try with anything bigger. Their tenant was parked in the way so that made it much harder to pull in driveway and back down to site. With the car moved over it would have been easier. Moe did apologize for forgetting to have tenant move car before we got there. Definitely a nice spot to spend the night.

We were tent camping for a music festival in Worcester. Moe’s spot was perfect! It was so spacious and quiet, despite being near a main-ish road. The pond was beautiful and the frogs were melodic. We were met upon arrival and they were so friendly! Their hospitality was awesome. We felt like we had privacy even though we were not very far from the main house. I also liked that there were clear HipCamp signs so we knew we were at the right spot. I would highly recommend this spot!

Moe met me as I pulled in. Welcoming me to the property. Great spot on the pond. No one bothered me the entire time. Fishing and peace. Great people. Would camp here again. The host is very warming person.

Really cozy spot! It’s right up against the pond, you can hear the rushing water. There’s some traffic noise and it is close to a house - but there are some trees for privacy. It was really nice!

The pond is very nice, but the place was closer to the road than we presumed. Communication with host was good.

We loved this sweet spot right next to a pond and the changing fall foliage. Moe was a great host and a very responsive communicator. Our dog loved sitting out along the water and we loved the view and the chiminea. There was some slight road noise from the nearby highway, but it never really bothered us. We would definitely stay here again.

This spot was beautiful with a pond and loud water feature. We arrived at night but still managed to set up with all the bugs and rain and whatnot (watch out for frogs!).
I would recommend but maybe more for the spring or fall. There were a lot of bugs because of the pond and humidity. And watch out for goose poop.
Overall gorgeous and the hosts were very accommodating and kind.

I had a great stay at Moe's Hipcamp - beautiful spot, lots of great hiking and swimming nearby, and the site was nicely mown and well drained, so no worries about getting stuck! I also picked and enjoyed some delicious wild black raspberries - they were excellent! I highly recommend this spot for people interested in visiting the area!

I had a long trip up and honestly moe was worried so her and her husband waited up to about 10pm and made sure I got settled

Very helpful with firewood, providing tables and chairs, and directions and recommendations around town! We felt welcomed to their space and it was a nice, quiet getaway for the weekend in MA.
