David was flexible, friendly, and has thought of and supplied all your needs. GREAT firewood, water, clean fresh picnic tables. beautiful clean huge grassy bowl surrounded by trees. Sky dome. Stars. With camp sites very widely spaced each with its own character. It was the best night of six for me.

David and Tara have made Wishing Stone Farm into a 5 star campsite. We were warmly welcomed to a beautiful and clean campsite with easy access for our large RV. Can't wait to visit next year!

David is the man. Great spot and plenty of space. It was also very convenient that we were allowed to leave trash in the dumpster, which is not typically offered at most sites.

David was an extremely welcoming and gracious host. His land is very cool and located close to a lot of trails and attractions. David came to check on us throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. His property is very pet friendly, and this would be a great spot to book a few sites with friends! We did have to leave a day early unexpectedly due to a last minute family event in the group, but that was no issue at all to David. He was a great host and we’ll definitely be back!

Dave’s property was everything we could have asked for! Private, clean and incredibly spacious. With its proximity to Mt Watatic and amazing nighttime views, this is a must camp for anyone in the area!

Stayed here with my teenage daughter and doggie and felt very safe, enough privacy and clean camping area with everything we needed! Port-a-potty, running drinkable hose for water nearby, picnic table and firepit. Dave, Tara and their dogs were very nice and super helpful with recommending places to go or whatever else we needed. Only catch was I had really poor cell service in the area (Verizon), luckily my daughter (AT&T) had decent reception for navigating around. Great hiking nearby.

We spent 3 nights here with our kids and dog. David was very nice and accommodating. We are definitely planning to go back sometime! The sites are spaced out and private. David was very informative on good hiking spots too!

There are 2 sections of camp sites and we had one in the front field. It was very peaceful. There’s a port-a-potty for each section and there was a hose with running water available too. The host was very accommodating and checked in on us a few times. Google maps led us astray, saying we’d arrived but it turns out we were a few miles away. Just make sure you’re headed to the right place!

David is such a sweet guy! The site was clean, he was accommodating and he gave us the elevated site cause I was worried about the rain. No quiet hours (which we loved) and had an accessible bathroom and water as needed. We went to one of his recommendations, the Andres Art Institute, which was so cool!

We were so delighted by David's site! He and his partner Tara were very welcoming to us. And they did a really beautiful job carving out camping sites among the wildflowers. It really was one of the most peaceful nights we had in our RV. We had a picnic table and a firepit and there weren't any other campers so we had the place to ourselves. I would highly recommend if you're in the area!

The site was beautiful. We could walk to hiking trails from our site. The host was very nice and chewing us to make sure everything was ok. The dogs on site were very sweet and well behaved. There is nice spacing between the sites.

We loved our stay at Wishing Farm!! David and Tara were fantastic hosts with really great recommendations for things to do around town. Firewood (for purchase) and drinking water are all conveniently on-site.

Beautiful land with some great meadow and forest micro climates. Hosts check in 1 or 2 times per day to make sure all is good and provide great recommendations for activities nearby.

It was my first Hipcamp experience and it was a great introduction. David and Tara are excellent hosts--there if you need anything but not intrusive at all. I hiked the forest trails which begin at the back of their property and followed their recommendations to nearby lakes, which were wonderful. I chose a tent site surrounded by wild flowers (there are about a half dozen sites to choose from.)

The site was great! It was secluded but close to town. The ports potty was clean and there was ample space between sites. We will definitely be back!

Wishing Stone Farm
David’s hip camp was nice. Even though there were two other groups, the spacing between sites was more than enough to feel a bit of seclusion and privacy. The property was pleasant. We picked some fresh blackberries, enjoyed the drinking water and took a quick, cooling rinse in the “rain tree”. Plus they’ve got some real cute dogs! The swimming hole nearby made for a fun afternoon adventure.
Overall David made us feel very welcome and comfortable. The place was well-maintained and pleasant.

We had a great time at wishing stone! We met David and the pups when we arrived and he showed us around. We were able to choose our camp site which was well maintained and even had wood all set up in the fireplace. The rain tree was really excellent because it was hot hot hot that day, and it was a great way to cool off. Lovely place and lovely hosts. Would definitely recommend.

David was very welcoming he showed us around his land where to throw trash, a water tap to use, firewood to purchase, and a water mist to cool off with.
There were three sites on the lower level each having a picknick table and a firepit. Shared porta-potty with other campers conveniately right by the site that was very clean.
Davids partner gave us ideas what to do in the area, trails to hike, swimming places near by that are good for kids.
The sites feels private although you could hear the other campers. The land is very open so for a hot summer day like ours bring a canopy!

We loved staying at David’s site and had a great time there! Our tent site felt secluded enough to feel private but still close enough to other campers and the main house to feel safe in case something were to happen. David checked in on us a few times to make sure we had everything we needed which was much appreciated. We will definitely come back!

First time Hipcamper and first time camper .
First impression were the property was huge and the sites were a good distance from each other, very well maintained.
The property has 2 levels, the wide open grassy field and the back lot which was close to hiking trails and the wild, we chose a nice secluded spot near the trails flanked by greenery all around.
We were treated to a fully stocked fire pit with kindling, all ready for us. Bathrooms were clean and enough away from the other campsites as well.
The only downside for us new campers was we chose a spot closer to the forest and trails so we heard a lot of wildlife and could not sleep at all, this comes with the territory of camping obviously. Next time we will pick the open field haha.
Overall great place through and through. Nothing bad to say.

David and Tara are wonderful hosts! They are so sweet and attentive and know the area so well so give awesome recommendations on swimming areas and fun things to do! Everything was so clean (including the porta potty!) and the sites were nicely spaced out. We loved that there are some trails right next to the land that you can go to right from your campsite. Would absolutely recommend Wishing Stone to anyone and we’ll hopefully be returning!!

David and Tara were incredibly friendly and helpful. They gave us the option of a few different sites when we arrived. There were some wonderful trails that my kids and pup enjoyed, including one to a brook that was a big hit. I look forward to camping there again some time.
