This is a nice hideaway tick back in the woods up a dirt road with a moderately steep section. Nice hiking. The day I was there it was raining which made the steep section difficult to ride on my fully laden motorcycle due to mud and lack of traction. So I stayed on the lower of several campsites - despite the rain, it was quiet and peaceful. I would stay there again - next time I will bring a Jeep! Super nice owner - cannot be more helpful and upbeat.

I was looking for a secluded place to solo camp and this was a great fit. You can either put your tent closer to the road or hike down the path a little and pitch there if you want to feel completely surrounded by nature. I recommend bringing one car unless you have a car that can go over rough terrain because you would have to pull one car further into the woods to fit two. If you want to make a fire, I suggest bringing a portable fire pit or plan to hunt for rocks in the woods to create a barrier because everything is covered in fallen leaves or wood and is probably pretty flammable. Since it was just me, I brought a smaller tent and didn’t have an issue finding a spot to pitch. I did notice there seemed to be space for a larger tent, however, previous renters had left things behind making it inaccessible at that time so I would double check on that before booking if you’re bringing a larger tent. Plan to bring your own water and be prepared to carry your gear because you have to leave your car at the entrance and walk into the woods a little before pitching your tent. AT&T has good service there but I don’t know about other carriers. Overall, I recommend this site for anyone who wants to have a secluded, relaxing experience while still being a reasonable distance from the rest of the town.
