Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Welcome to Big Foot Camping Ground. Where sightings of Bigfoot and other cryptids where close both Leominster State Forest and Ashburnham. Run by the owner of Education Earth Museum, you will find this location to be enchanted next to hiking trails and the Otter River. This is a rustic camp, has no facilities so please make sure you bring what you need. It is suggested if you are not experienced with rustic camping to select campsite Number 1 or campsite Letter A by the main entrance. Fishing is permitted. Look upon the night sky and watch UAPs. Upon request, groups are allowed to meet at the main entrance for any special activities. We also provide nature talks if requested as well for an extra fee. Parking is on the road in front of the entrance. Requests for pictures with our Bigfoot Mascot will be available after May 25, 2025. Please check our website for special events at: www.educationearthmuseum.com. Please note: the museum is closed in Athol, MA but will reopen in another location. Our campground which is small IS open in Gardner Massachusetts.
