Willows Farm is a beautiful 165 acre, regenerative, cattle farm, raising 100% grass finished beef and high quality hay. We are excited to announce that we have our first 100% grass finished beef ready and waiting (May 2023) for your purchase here at the farm. Our farm is family owned and operated and is located in the beautiful rolling hills of northeast Frederick County in Union Bridge Maryland, just off route 75 on a quiet, country road. Please note the farm entrance address is 11935 Simpsons Mill Road, Keymar, MD, but the farm is technically located in Union Bridge. Enjoy the peace and quiet of nature and relax near the campfire with your wood fired dinner. This site has electric and water hookup and firewood is available for a small fee. The campsite is situated at the highest point of Willows Farm, offering tranquil farm views, gorgeous mountain vistas and spectacular sunsets. Soak up the beautiful countryside during your stay on the farm and hike our 25 acres of wooded property and chase a few bunnies and spot a herd of deer. Take a brisk walk to the cattle pastures and chat with our curious and friendly Black Angus heifers, Eleni, Lola and Maggie and say hi to our horse Albe. All of the fencing at Willows Farm is electric to keep our cattle and horse in and you will get shocked if you touch it. Please be mindful of this with your pets and children. If you are fortunate enough to have the timing right, you can even watch an airplane take off and land on our farm grass strip — "Willows Landing", which is just to the north (cardinal direction) of the campsite. Just 30 minutes to Gettysburg battlefields, historical downtown Frederick, and many other exciting places for exploration, Willows Farm is a great location for fun! Spend an evening watching Bull riding and barrel racing at J Bar W Ranch just a few minutes down the street in Johnsville. If vineyards and breweries are your thing we are just 15 - 30 minutes from many fine establishments. A few of our favorites are Black Ankle Vineyards, Linganore Winecellars and Attaboy Beer. Antique shopping abounds in the nearby charming, little town of New Market. So you're hungry and have a hankering for local cuisine? Take a five minute drive to the quaint downtown of Union Bridge and visit one of the three delicious family run restaurants. You can even take a few minutes to give your truck a bath at the Union Bridge Car Wash in the middle of town. Enjoy your stay and please contact us if we can help with anything.

The Woods at Willows (Site #2)

The perfect escape

This Hipcamp is absolutely beautiful! The total party was my husband, our 2.5 year old daughter, our 2 dogs, and myself. The signs are easy to follow, the campsite is easy to locate, it’s perfectly shaded for most of the day, and it’s close to the cattle pastures so taking a stroll across the landing strip and down the drive was nice. I suggest buying the firewood bundles available from the host because we paid $35 for 5 bundles where it would have been close to $50 anywhere else. Speaking of the host, Curtis was communicative, kind, and knowledgable. Just a heads up if you stay at campsite 2, the foxes come out at night so if you have reactive dogs I’d probably bring a leash. Overall, really nice trip.

Plan to return!!

Willows Farm was very private. Our stay was short but memorable. The weather was great. Having our own, easy to find outhouse made it even more private. We plan to return.

A really great stay!

This is an incredibly beautiful Farm (with great grass fed steak if you want it) and a large woods. The owners are very friendly and it's a great place to explore if you're into that so I highly recommend it!

Unfortunately we couldn't make it due to tow vehicle issues. Curtis communicated well and promptly. Only wish we could have made it. We will definitely try to make it there at some point.

Sunset Hill at Willows Farm-Site #1

Lovely and tranquil place to stay.

We loved camping in our campervan with a view of open fields and beef cattle. The directions were easy to follow. Our host met us on our first day and introduced the lay of the land. He was very nice and made sure we were pleased with everything. It’s very quiet and peaceful. Excellent place to unwind. We will be back!

Perfect weekend getaway

An absolutely perfect spot!! Beautiful farm and perfect site for campers! Curtis was very welcoming and checked on us through our stay! We walked the property and saw a beautiful sunset! We also purchased beef which we are sure will be delicious! We will return and will recommend to all our camping friends !
