Adult place for Peace and Quiet Farm property located in Carroll County, MD. Property borders Hashawha Environmental Center and Bear Branch Nature Center. Hashawa is a 320-acre park that includes 5 miles of multi-use trails, raptor mews. fishing at Lake Hashawa , located at the Hashawha Environmental Center in Westminster, MD, is a catch-and-release fishing pond. The most common fish you can catch include largemouth bass, bluegill, spotted bass, green sunfish, and the occasional smallmouth bass and Pike Creek, The restored Martin Cabin Homestead. Easily accessible from MD Route 97 also known as Baltimore Pike. Property highlights "off-grid" living, stargazing, and secluded spots with a strict "leave no trace" policy enforced. Well behaved pets are welcome, and campers must adhere to state leash laws. Biking, Bird Watching, Star Gazing, Hiking, are just a few things you can do. Trips to Gettysburg and all activities at nearby attractions. Union Mills Homestead Beer Festival. Carrolls Wine Festival. Camp #1 is located in the Middle of Nowhere. Farm fields, trees for shade. Plenty of outside activities at neighboring County Parks. Trails for hiking, biking, and late night star gazing. Note: You bring it you take it. No motorized vehicles or generators allowed.

Perfect getaway! Extremely private and you’re 5 feet away from miles of trails!! Lovely if you have dogs as well- lots of space for running around. Host was absolutely lovely.

Beautiful property, but unfortunately our stay was marred by bad communication, poor check-in coordination, and hostile host behavior. When we arrived, there was no signage, and no one answered the phone (despite instructions saying to call upon arrival). Unsure where to go, we drove toward the house, where the husband eventually guided us to our campsite on a tractor. However, his off-leash dog ran up to our car/site—which caused a stressful moment since my dog was on a leash and does not do well with loose dogs. We were willing to overlook the rocky arrival, but things escalated after we left. The host, Erin, sent us an unacceptable message calling us "trash" and accusing us of leaving trash behind, which we absolutely did not do. As experienced Hipcampers, we always leave sites cleaner than we found them. Calling guests names is completely unprofessional. Esp bc afterward she apologized to my wife because they have 0% evidence that we did this. We will not be returning. Photos are attached.

Nice secluded area with a great open view and privacy. The host were very generous and informative.
