We love this place! This was our second time camping here. Everyone at the farm is so kind, the farm animals are beautiful, peaceful woods, the whole place has an awesome vibe. Thanks so much Julie!

Hideout at Wildom Farm was pure magic. It’s a beautiful campsite in an idyllic and dreamy location. Julie + Frank were super hosts, both communicative and considerate. 10/10 will stay anytime I can:)

We had a terrific time staying at Wildom Farm. The campsite was beautiful and easily accessible. We explored the farm and found the pigs, chickens, cows, and turkeys. We would be happy to return and camp in this serene place.

We love love love this spot! The farm is amazing and the animals are beautiful. It is such a restful, peaceful space. Julie and Frank are so nice and accommodating and the locations for camping are perfect for a weekend getaway! Also very close to Deep Creek but feels like you are off the beaten path.

What a great spot for camping. Farm animals, creek, great camp site, brewery across the street and just a few minutes from Deep Creek Lake and 1hr from Blackwater Falls. Julie and the farm crew were super nice and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Hideout at Wildom Farm
Wildom farm is everything we asked for in a weekend away from the city life . A Secluded camp site in the woods gave us a chance to enjoy some peace and quiet we needed but the lake is just a few minutes down the road when we were ready for adventure ! We realized half way down we forgot eggs but no problem Julie was happy to provide fresh ones ! Definitely a hidden gem of deep creek would highly recommend.

Had a wonderful time at the Hideout! Julie made sure we had everything we needed and was an incredibly welcoming host. The campsite was great! We were able to see the stars from the large field nearby and the sounds of the stream was lovely at night! The site was quiet even though it was walking distance from a great brewery. I would come back in a heartbeat.

Hideout at Wildom Farm
Great couple of camp sites on a wooded piece of a farm. Julie, the host, is very responsive and really wants you to enjoy what the property has to offer, including woods, fields, chickens, turkeys, pigs, and more. We had a blast there and would definitely return if camping in the Deep Creek Lake area.

We had a wonderful time this past weekend. Julie was a gracious host and my 9-yr-old and I enjoyed every aspect of the farm - learning about rejenerative farming, playing with the "mascot" pigs and friendly farm dog, bouncing on the trampoline, star-gazing in the wide-open field, a great campfire cookout at the very well maintained campsite, and Sunday morning yoga on the farm. Also loved the great pizza across the street before the trip back. It was a perfect 10!

Julie and Frank were wonderful to deal with. The property was beautiful and there were many more amenities at the site than I realized. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Our stay at Wildom Farms was exceptional! The property is beautiful, and the campsites are in a private yet easily accessible part of the woods. We enjoyed our time in the area, as well as learning about the property and sustainable farming from host Julie. We plan to return in the future, and wish we could have taken Cookie and Ginger (the cutest pigs) home with us in the meantime.

This was an excellent campsite, close to everything I wanted to do in the area, and the site itself was very secluded back in the woods but easy to get to. We're already thinking about our next trip there.

We had an amazing time at the farm. Julie and her family are so kind. I love what they are e doing on the farm and the regard that they hold for the earth.
The site itself is just as pictured, cuddled in along the little stream. The other site is close but has just enough space in between. The toilet and bin for compost etc is well thought out and appreciated.
The land is beautiful and wonderful to wander around and experience the animals able to enjoy space and dirt. Eggs were yummy and such a colorful assortment. Be sure to buy some.
Brewery so close is just wonderful. Pizza was really good.

The farm was lovely and our 2 year old loved all of the animals and being able to walk up to them and not be afraid. We loved the creek that runs through the campsite. We will definitely be back in the future.

Hideout at Wildom Farm
Awesome experience! We were impressed with how meticulously maintained both the farm and campsites are. There are two sites, but they are spaced out far enough to give plenty of privacy. The camping spots are in a beautiful spot in the woods by a small creek. Julie was very friendly and accommodating. We would highly recommend camping here.

Hideout at Wildom Farm
We had a great stay at Wildom Farm. The site is beautiful and secluded, with a great firepit and outhouse set-up. We loved the combination of open meadow and quiet woods with little trails to walk through. There are lots of great day trips in the mountains, and Julie was a wonderful host with lots of suggestions for things to see.

This place is great. The hosts are extremely welcoming and we were able to have a great time despite not so great weather. We especially love how many awesome animals they have wandering on the farm! And seriously try some of their amazing farm raised chicken when you go, it’s the best I ever had!

I almost hesitated to write a review so that this spectacular gem of a campsite would remain hidden. It’s clean, private, peaceful and beautiful...just a few minutes from Deep Creek Lake but secluded enough to offer harbor from the crowds. The hosts far exceeded my expectations for hospitality. A must-stay experience.

This was our first time tent camping with our 4-yr-old and 1-yr-old. Julie was a gracious host and made us feel welcome right away. She helped us get settled into the camp site and provided dry firewood (it rained just prior to our arrival). The farm and campsite were perfect and it was great having so much privacy, being the only ones there. We enjoyed the campfire and waded in the creek. The site was cool and shades and flat and had trash bins and toilet available. Julie even checked in on us during a thunderstorm. The next morning we got to tour the farm and meet all the animals. We’d love to return another time and do some hiking. We highly recommend Wildom Farm.

This was a last minute place for us to sleep on a road trip, but turned out to be awesome. It was a great experience to visit the beautiful farm. Our 2 year old loved that we could walk right up to the friendly chickens and pigs. The campsite was quiet and peaceful, under shady trees right beside a little stream.

This place is awesome. Very secluded yet close to everything you might need. Site and amenities were perfect. The hosts were great and gave us plenty of space. There’s even cool farm animals roaming all over the place. Would definitely come back!

Can’t say enough good things about this place. Our site was private, spacious, and well accommodated. A small creek runs around the back of the site and the forest and farm views of Garrett County were stunning. Come prepared to walk ~5-7 minutes across a field to reach the site (and bring bug spray in the summer), but know that there is composting toilet access and an area for trash, recycling, and compost right next to the site.
Popular local brewery Mountain State within walking distance, garden access, friendly pigs, and well-water access (near parking area) are all attractions, as well as our friendly host Julie and the farm tours she does for an extra $25. We didn’t get to do it this time, but we already know we’ll be back and can’t wait!!
