I had a relaxing night tent camping on the property. Devyn provided great directions and was very responsive in the app. The site is clear and level, with a nice raised fire pit. I also enjoyed exploring the trails around the wooded property. I would love to return!

We really enjoyed the hill top camping perch above the Basecamp spot. We were able to get two rigs up there, along with some tents. It was a great spot to stop for the night before continuing our weekend journey. Would definitely come back.

Very nice spot! Very quiet and peaceful. My son and I mostly wanted to try out my diesel heater with two tents. Camping on this property is exactly how I love to camp. No one else around and surrounded by trees!
We didn’t even cook but stopped by some of the little restaurants.

I had a great stay at Base camp! The directions were super clear and camp was easy to find. I arrived very late which Devyn was very accommodating with! I was going to tent camp, then exhaustion from driving kicked in so I decided to set up the hammock. Two trees next to the site made set up quick and for a comfortable night under the stars. On my way out, along the drive was a diverse understory which made for some awesome roadside botanizing!

It's a sprawling wooded property, great for walks and hikes, campfires, and even some yard games. Our site was spacious and accommodated our group perfectly. Our 11 week old puppy had the time of his life 🤣.

We had a wonderful stay at Estes Place! Great communication about the site too. There were two campsites available for our us with our 16-foot travel trailer. We picked the site on the higher knoll. Beautiful. Tucked amidst trees in an ample clearing. We enjoyed exploring the trails on the property too. Every night a whippoorwill sang and wood thrushes too. The road in was a little rugged but expected for a beautiful backwoods camp and we had no issues in navigating it. We would absolutely return!

Great stay overall. Clean grounds, feels very private and secluded. You could hear really loud gunshots off in the distance that went on for a while. Not a deal breaker, but can be unnerving. Devyn did reach out to apologize and address the noise because it was not expected or regularly occurring.

Devyn and his family have a really amazing location tucked away far from the road. He went above and beyond to accommodate me. His directions are excellent and I would definitely recommend all wheel/4 wheel for rainy days since I was the only one there and had a whole mountain top to yourself.
There are trails on the property that were fun to walk with the dog.
It was working trip and Devyn came through! He said he’s working on a package deal for those of us who need to work but also need open space and fresh air.
He also provided local recommendations which proved very helpful.
As a single woman I felt very comfortable staying on this site and would absolutely recommend it.

Devyn is a wonderful host. He responds quickly and respectfully. I was able to get over to the spot within a few hours of booking for a last minute accommodation.
The directions are precise and accurate. The spot itself is the top of a hill that I had all to myself!
There is a very clean outhouse that’s super convenient. There is a fire ring but during my visit a fire ban was in place which is completely understandable.
This trip is a working trip and Devyn managed to set me up with WiFi which he will be bundling as an awesome add on for those who need it.
Devyn also provided me with great recommendations for all things local.
My dog spotted some wild turkeys while on one of the trails within the grounds. The trails have markers and there’s even a map showing them.
As a single woman traveler, this spot felt private and safe.
Would absolutely recommend.

We enjoyed two nights at the top of the knob where the loudest thing around was a very far off horn of a freight train. The county enacted an emergency burn ban the night before our arrival and Devyn was quick to offer to refund our firewood. It was a great stay, great host, we would definitely come back.

We had an amazing stay at Este’s Place. We were looking for a refuge after an emotional and busy work week and came and had a great time with our two dogs. Although it was cold and we were unable to have a campfire, we made the most of our time and went on a nice little hike and got lost in the woods. It was the perfect amount of time and solitude for us and we left feeling refreshed. Devyn was such a gracious and understanding host. We’ll definitely stay again!

Devyn’s land was a great weekend escape. We have a small squaredrop camper that fit nicely on the flat patch of land. The outhouse was clean and convenient. He stopped by to check us in and deliver eggs but otherwise we were left alone in the peaceful woods. Would recommend especially if you like hilly hiking; there are a couple of paths to hike on the land.

Devyn was an exceptional host! was great with warmth and friendliness. Showed us the trails and even brought out a jungle gym for the kids!!
The trails were amazing and the dogs and kids had a great time! we found a turtle, many toads/frogs and even oyster mushrooms after the rain!
My kids already are planning the next trip for next year!! or the fall!

Could not recommend this site more! It was secluded, clean, and had all the space we needed. Devyn was a phenomenal host - left extras for us at the site, and was easy to communicate with.
In addition to being a great host, he also went above and beyond. When we were packed and ready to leave, we tried to start our car, but the battery was dead. We called Devyn (on a Sunday morning) and he was able to send someone to help within 10 min. Incredible.

Wow! One of the best wooded campsites I have ever stayed at! Up the valley from the Potomac River, the site was fantastic, with sun, shade, and trails with abundant local wildlife (birds, deer). Devyn is a kind and hospitable host who thoughtfully left wood, drinking water, and other supplies on site for our use. We will certainly be back!

Devyn’s campsite was great. Complete solitude, never saw anyone. Tons of shade from the sun. The site itself was huge, and even had hiking trails where I saw a box turtle, white tail deer and heard the whip-poor-will.
