A tranquil site in open and blossoming blueberry barrens, come later in the summer to pick your own fresh off the vine!  This location is relatively remote - a (in parts really) rough dirt road leads to my property which comprises 12 acres surrounded by/looking across hundreds of acres of other family members' blueberry barrens - perfect for those wanting a private and peaceful retreat!  Beautiful views of Blue Hill mountain, great sun (and sometimes moon!) rises and sunsets, and your own personal planetarium on clear (best on the new moon) nights!   On the same road as (5 min from) Kingdom Woods Conservation Area (800 acre area with peaceful trails and a pond), 10 minutes from Blue Hill town center and its amenities (YMCA - hot showers, Tradewind's/Coop supermarkets,) and nature mountain (hiking!) and its Bay (swimming!), 20-30 minutes from Holbrook Island Sanctuary, the historic Castine waterfront, the quaint finishing villages of Deer Isle and Stonington, and 45 minutes to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park!  Discover Downeast Maine away from the crowds, at your very own quiet blueberry base!

Come explore real Maine on the "other" island (Deer Isle), and see all the bold beauty of the Maine Coast away from the crowds of Mount Desert Island/Acadia National Park/Bar Harbor!  Camp on our waterfront lawn, overlooking Crystal Cove Preserve.  Enjoy clear sky views, sunsets, and absolute peace! Site has a firepit, tree stump stools, and tons of private tidal beach frontage on the Atlantic!  OR if it's rainy, set your tent(s) up on our large lean-to, a three-walled structure (with roof!), and stay dry while still enjoying ocean views.  Enjoy swimming, kayaking/canoeing/and/or Stand Up Paddle Boarding right in front of your campsite at high tide.  You can also dig your own dinner: our tidal cove is a hotbed for fresh clams! Located off the radar, in Oceanville, a tiny island off of Deer Isle, connected by bridge, and part of the town of Stonington, this is the perfect location to get away from the crowd. Ask the host for tons of local recommendations right on Deer Isle, including best places to swim, hike, eat, or even have a super local experience and hop the Mail Boat out to Isle au Haut (out of nearby Stonington Harbor) and explore the beautiful trails and beaches of an even more remote island off the Maine coast! A 10 minute drive to the quaint fishing villages of Deer Isle or downtown Stonington. A 45 min drive from Blue Hill town center, Blue Hill Mountain (hiking!) and its Bay (more swimming!), and a 1.5 hr drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park.

The field was beautiful! Very remote and private. Martin was so sweet making sure we had everything we needed :) our 2 cats and dog loved it too. i would definitely stay again at this beautiful blueberry farm!

You go for the wide open space and the great view! The site is no more than a port a potty, fire ring, and picnic table, AND it was perfect. It’s very private, quiet, and more than spacious. If fresh air and solitude is your vibe, this is the place for you. The host was in contact shortly reservation and the directions from the host get you where you need to be. I’d stay again.

A great place to do nothing. But if you must do, there’s plenty to do. The privacy and expansive views are hard to beat. And — while maples and oaks get all of the attention in autumn — blueberry barren fall foliage is hard to beat. You’re surrounded by scarlet waves. The site itself has everything you need: porta potty, fire pit, picnic table, privacy. You’re about an hour and change outside of Acadia NP if you wanted to do a day trip. There are some nice trails on the quiet side by Long Pond. Closer to the site, the Barred Island Preserve trail is one of my favorites. Or grab a coffee at 44 North then head to Sand Beach in Stonington. Food, Drink, Etc: Tinder Hearth, 44 North Coffee, Bucklyn Coffee, Blue Hill Books, Blue Hill Wine Shoo, Blue Hill Co-Op, Brooklin Inn, Brooklin General Store, Pilgrim’s Inn, Roaring Lion, El El Frijoles. Overall would definitely recommend!

Excellent site in one of Maine's best places. Unusual (in a good way) sites that are well set on a blueberry barren. Gives for open views and beautiful nights. Castine is 15 minutes away and complements your outdoor journey.

Hosts were so helpful. The site #3 was lovely. It is tucked in against the woods under a sheltering tree. There is a fascinating pile of boulders nearby, pulled from the fields over the years. The view across the blueberry fields in their autumn colors was spectacular.

This was a quiet place in blueberry fields. We just needed a quick stop before traveling more. I appreciated the host not being invasive as we just wanted peace and sleep after a full day. There were other campers there that we could see, but they were far enough away that we didn’t hear them. A heads up: the porta potty was a bit far from our site, so it may be beneficial to bring your own camping toilet. All in all, I’d recommend with proper planning.

What a magical place to stay! It was quite relaxing to sit by the fire, surrounded by blueberry bushes, under the magnificent night sky. The hosts were very accommodating, we absolutely loved the area, and we cannot wait to return!!

Wildberry Farm is so beautiful and peaceful! It was the perfect place for us to stay as we explored the Blue Hill Peninsula. Lakeisha and her father were very welcoming. We arrived to a delicious blueberry pie on our picnic table, and mid August there were still some blueberries in the fields, easy to reach by the thoughtfully mowed paths around the site. We stayed in site 2, which we loved for the views of the fields and distance from other sites. A long list of local recommendations was provided which was extremely helpful. I would love to stay again!

A absolutely beautiful spot. Martin was so helpful in helping us find our spot and offered to help make a fire. We ended up requesting to move to spot 3 instead of spot 4 and were able to do so with a small fee change! It was a perfect night under the stars, we saw so so many. Very quiet and secluded, we were the only hip campers that night. And it was so nice staying on the property, they had a very clean portapotty to use that was helpful! Just overall a beautiful time.

I had a wonderful experience camping here! Very secluded and quiet spot, was able to see lots of stars each night after gorgeous sunsets. Lakeisha was a wonderful host, provided a composting toilet and great recommendations for the area. I also took a hatha yoga class with her that was incredibly restorative and enjoyable. Close enough to Acadia for a visit but also far enough to be away from the crowds and lots of options in the area for great hiking and swimming. Highly recommend!

This was an absolutely amazing camping experience! The campsite in the middle of the blueberry field under the big tree was exceptional, with a huge amount of flat room along with a generously sized fire pit and a picnic table. I was easily able to set up my car camping kit in a perfect position to enjoy the fire and the evening and the starry night! I didn't see the other sites directly but I am sure they were also wonderful as they were situated on the same field. The property owner's home was within eyeshot but was more than far enough away where you didn't feel as though you were being surveilled at all. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, and look forward to definitely doing so!

Stayed here for 2 nights, This was a great place to camp! The setting was really beautiful and quiet. The sites are spread out far around the property so it felt very private as well. The host was a great communicator and it was easy to find. Great location near some awesome beaches and hikes on this beautiful peninsula. Highly recommend camping here!

Lakeisha’s blueberry farm camping is what Hipcamp is can be at its best. Gorgeous land, thoughtfully planned and laid out, quiet, close to great swims (Walkers Pond, Sand Beach are both terrific), food, sights. We’ve stayed in prob close to 50 and this is in the very small handful of exceptional. Thoroughly recommended.

If you enjoy a remote setting, stargazing and Blueberry pies.. book this ASAP. Watching the moonrise over these Blueberry fields on a quite August evening was everythign and more than advertised. Do yourself a favor and get the pie to order if available. Best Pie we've every had. Thank you Keisha for being an amazing host, with top tier communication and 10/10 baking skills!

Camping in the blueberry field was idyllic, peaceful, and revitalizing. Camp is clean and quiet. Exactly what my wife and our two dogs were looking for. The host team had firewood and a blueberry pie ready for us. Highly recommend this site for off-grid ready or self-contained camper setups!
