The Rivers Retreat is a gorgeous, 13-acre sanctuary located on the sandy shores of the Little Tchefuncte River in Covington, Louisiana. We have 10 cottages of various sizes for rent as well as tons of land for primitive camping. We Our breathtaking 13-acre retreat, in Covington, Louisiana is nestled along the Little Tchefuncte River. Its white sandy dunes and shimmering currents will make you feel transported to another world. The Rivers Retreat is the perfect venue for a magical wedding or special event. If you are planning a family reunion, or corporate or church retreat, your guests will make a lifetime of memories. This sprawling historic retreat offers 10 beautifully appointed cottages that can accommodate 50 overnight guests. There is a very large, beautiful meeting room as well as an enormous banquet hall with a well-stocked commercial kitchen, compete with all linens, tableware, and stemware. The covered, screened pavilion is enormous and is the perfect place for a wedding ceremony, reception, or conference. Guests absolutely love to stretch out on the 13 acres and explore the neatly manicured grounds. The river is easily accessible and is usually the right depth for wading, swimming, kayaking and canoeing. In the hot summer months, the massive pool provides a welcome oasis, while tennis and basketball is always available. The Rivers Retreat provides the perfect, breathtaking venue for your memorable event! Enjoy a variety of high-end, rustic amenities at The Rivers Retreat.
