Overall I had a great experience. Lots of space, nice views of the water, friendly people!
One thing that I didn’t love was the showers were a push style tap that you need to keep pushing (if I didn’t have long hair to wash this wouldn’t be a downside!) but I can also appreciate the water conservation aspect.
Primitive tent camping is separate from everything which is a great but you are far from the toilets/showers, there is an outhouse at the tenting location.

Accidental trip to Still Waters

We ended up at Still Water’s on accident after having a blowout on one of our camper tires and changing it on side of the interstate in the dark! This was the closest campsite we could get to. It was dark when we arrived, but we were able to book a site online and get some good rest after a stressful night. The next morning we saw the beautiful spot by the creek and met Tracy, the campground manager. She was extremely kind and helpful, and even offered us a spare tire. We ended up staying another night just to relax and enjoy the peaceful setting.

Great camping spot close to water, the bourbon trail and interstate. The host was flexible and willing to work with us on a schedule change, highly recommend.

Hi! Hmmm. What to say. Everyone was so friendly... but all the people offering to help also kind of made me feel a bit "watched," like I was entering their community and I was the new person in town. The manager was fantastic and allow me to change spots to a spot that was much more scenic and lovely, unfortunately that spot was underneath a tree that covered our cars and RV with a sticky substance. It was either the tree or the pesticides being sprayed on the corn in the field nearby. We were able to utilize the power and water hookups without any problem and dumped our tank without issue.
We have T-Mobile and we did not have cell service nor was Wi-Fi available, but we kind of enjoyed that. Just a heads up for those that can't be off grid though.
The people camping near us played decently loud country music the whole time we were there except for quite hours. The guy next to us was doing woodworking and had a generator and a circular saw going pretty often.
I probably won't go back because it wasn't my vibe, but if you don't mind the things I talked about it might be the right place for you. For sure everyone was extremely friendly.

Quiet & clean stop on Bourbon Trail

Pull Through - W/E Only - 60ft
Quiet campground, mix of long and short term campers, mostly RVs. Pull through site was level, easy access to water and shore power, no problems with either. Sites are side by side in a large grassy field with gravel drives and some trees. Water access is on property, bath house is basic but clean. Definitely would stay again while exploring the bourbon trail.
