Designed for slow mornings, campfire nights, and meaningful connection, our property blends rustic charm with thoughtful comforts across canvas bell tents, cozy cabins, and RV-friendly sites. Cute and cozy spot

This is a cute little cabin, perfect for one or two people who want a peaceful time in the Gorge with lots of hanging out time. My husband and I rented this for a between Christmas and new years break and had a wonderful time. The living room is bright and cheery because of all the windows and we had so much fun relaxing and playing board games. The hosts are very welcoming and responsive and took care of a problem with the hot tub later in the evening.

Luxury Cabin with Pasture Views & P

We had a lovely stay in the Peaceful Pasture cabin. It was the perfect size for two and the windows let in so much natural light in the morning and all day. The property was quiet and we really enjoyed our stay overall. Heidi was an excellent host, checking to make sure we received all of our check in instructions and directions well before we arrived. It was a much needed getaway and we hope to return again in the warmer months!

Glamping in a yurt

Luxury Glamping Tent Hot Tub Heater

This was my first glamping experience and I simply loved it! The yurts looked more magical on site and we had a cozy bonfire and toasted marshmallows by the fire. Me and my friends are glad we chickened out of camping and did glamping instead because it provided us more comfort and coziness than camping. We woke up to horses running around near the area and had another fire. Totally worth the trip!

The rutty driveway and unstable camping spot, resulting in the jacks sinking into the ground so we were unable to level the RV at first, necessitating having to park across 3 campsites, insufficient directions resulting in being unable to make turn onto property driveway and necessitating unhooking of towed vehicle, get us off to a bad start. Otherwise, the property was beautiful. Thank you to the neighbor who consented to us utilizing his property to more easily, safely, and without roadway issues.

The site is new and pretty rough but a good place if you just need to park. A little pricey for the restrooms being closed the hole time, the entire campground running on one star link (this did not work except for basic phone calls).

We loved staying at Dave’s land. The RV site had everything we needed for our stay. We arrived in our class A Winnebago 25’. Campers should be aware the roads leading to the campground are narrow, winding, steep and not well marked. The stone drive way into the camp is narrow, steep (downhill) and bumpy. Other than these few shortfalls, we had a good experience for your days. Thanks go to the owners for keeping the campgrounds clean, well laid out, and private.

Cozy Fireside Glamp w/ Hot Tub

I absolutely adored our yurt stay in the Gorge. The property is perfect, the yurt is spacious, has electricity, a small fridge, space heater if needed, a very comfy bed, and cute outdoor lights. The bathhouse is wonderful with a hot shower and shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. There are toilets on the end of each side of the bath house. There is one campfire for the whole yurt village which I loved! It gave us a real community feel and we got to know 6 other friends around the fire one night. There is cornhole, dart board and horseshoes as well. It would be helpful to know that the parking lot that you are supposed to use can only be accessed by the "road" to the right that doesn't look like a road after you turn off the main one. The other road takes you to the property as well and some of us parked there as well since all of our cars wouldn't have fit in the other lot. You will love this sweet place! I am inspired to buy some property and make my own yurt village now.

We stayed here this past weekend and enjoyed it! Quiet, out in the country but not too far. Scenic drive and nice large property with several options (we brought an overlanding trailer). Bathroom/Toilet rooms were clean and not far from our site. The ‘glamping’ area with tents looked to all be in good shape. We didn’t use any WiFi (why would you?) or the hot tub. The hosts Dave and Amy were nice and attentive to the property. No complaints from us! We will def rebook this on a return visit!

A great spot with RV electric, water and sewage, lots of privacy and 25 minutes from Natural Bridge State Park. The bathhouse was extremely nice and clean, with several private showers available. Will stay again when in the area!

Luxury Cabin with Pasture Views & P

First, the good things ... the setting was pretty with views of a meadow with horses and deer. The air conditioner keeps the place cool. The trailer, however, is old and run-down. The pictures make it look much nicer than it is. The first day the bathroom door got jammed and we had to break the latch to open it. The stove doesn't work and they have a hot plate instead. The hot tub does not get above 90 degrees ... definitely not hot. Each morning we woke up to no power in the kitchen and had to reset the breaker. There is very little hot water for showers. The host promised to take care of these issues but never did. Also, Hipcamp allowed us to book for 3 nights. However, apparently, the place was already booked for the third night we wanted. The host asked us to cancel the booking and rebook for the 2 nights he actually had vacancies for. He refunded the original booking but Hipcanp will not refund their fees. We are out $100 for a stay that they messed up. I cannot recommend Hipcamp nor this trailer

Nice place to stay!

Cozy Fireside Glamp w/ Hot Tub

We only had one night here but we loved it! It was very clean. Very peaceful! We were the only ones there but if there are other people you have to share the fire pit. So if you dont like that, I wouldn't recommend it. Otherwise, very nice place to stay! Nowhere for kids to play except the grass area around the yurts. Would be nice for a family to rent all the yurts and have the place to yourself. There are 5 all together if I remember correctly. One thing I would say is dont go by the coordinates it says . Use the actual address it gives you. The coordinates stop in the middle of the road and you still have approximately 3 miles to go.

Creekside Cabin Hot Tub& RRG Trails

My girlfriend and I loved our long weekend stay at the Rough Creek Bunkhouse. Amanda, David and our hosts all made sure that we had exactly what we needed for a relaxing stay. If you just click the address listed on Hipcamp it is roughly 1/2 mile off from the actual location. I recommend entering the actual address into your maps app. The Retreat is tucked back off of High Rock Rd and can be easily missed especially if you are arriving later in the evening with low visibility. Despite being called the Bunkhouse, we assumed that there would be at least one bed that is not a bunk bed. That is not the case. There are only two beds both of which are bunk beds. I would recommend adding sleeping arrangements for adults who do not wish to sleep in a bunk bed. The property owners were in the process of transitioning to new ownership and were still working on unboxing supplies. The cabin did not have a grill or firepit for our use which was disappointing. I am hoping that the new owners will add these things for future guests to enjoy. Overall the cabin and property was exactly what we needed for a relaxing weekend getaway. I would absolutely go back to the Retreat at High Rock for another stay.

Lux Hilltop Couples Cabin wd Hottub

Directions per the address were wrong, deck was covered in debris, hot tub needed water and had to wait 30+ min to gain access to the property. Borderline harassed by the owner / host when I didn't reply as to whether I had checked out from the property. ( This was not my responsibilities as the time for check out was posted in the agreement and I also swept the deck myself) Over all other than the way the host handled things possibly as a new hosting customer the property was nice inside and aside from the technical issues it was a desirable location and site!
