This site worked well for a 3 day weekend trip to Daniel Boone National Forest. I like quiet places that are secluded and this worked well. We got a site right next to a creek and there were 3 mountains on 3 sides. It was the end of lane so no houses, but the owner does live a few hundred feet way. Besides the owners, there was nobody else around and it was very quiet at night. The star gazing was incredible.

Site 1 - Fitchburg Furnace Creekside
Our creekside camp was perfect! The creek is nice and clean, there are trails on the property and there’s even a small cave. There’s plenty of level ground for tents… and the view of the stars is awesome. It’s about 25 minutes to the Natural Bridge trail. The owners live on site and were very welcoming. We spent 3 days and 2 nights and had an amazing time!

Quiet place but no other campers
The property was private as the street literally dead ends to it. Dog and cat on site super sweet and friendly. I wouldn't recommend though bc had there been any other campers it wouldn't have been private at all as they're pretty close sites with not much to separate them. We picked the Bottom of the falls site but there was no falls or we couldn't find it. Also not much flow in the creek either. They say there's trails on site but no direction at all to where they start or are at. There's also a large shed on site that could or could not have had someone in it, that was a question the whole time. I just feel this should have been a $20 camp site. I feel like it didn't fit the description at all.

Great camp site, very secluded and primitive which is what I was looking for! I had an excellent experience there and would definitely recommend!

Private site way out in the middle of no where, but with that being said, you may be sharing the location with unknown people. We booked the site for two nights but ended up leaving early when some pretty intoxicated people showed up after dark on night two. Not the owners fault. She was very nice. Bathroom was super clean. Just be aware that you may be sharing the space with people and there may or may not be owners on site to keep everything in check.

The site was lovely, shaded and being near the stream was nice. It was very remote. We had the place to ourselves so this wasnt an issue for us, but the sites are all in the same general area. two are separated by some trees but you would definitely be able see and hear others if all three campsites were in use. Port a john was fresh and clean! Kartia was kind and met us before the camp entrance to guide us in!

Beautiful! Our spot was right on the creek and exactly what we were looking for. It was a large spot. The host was wonderful. She met me there and showed me where some of her trails are. The property was great to explore. We explored the falls as well as the creek and really enjoyed it. There is a port a pot but no running water. There is no cell service with AT&T for several miles. There is a pup and kitty on the property that were charming and very well behaved. It is a 30-60 min drive to so many beautiful places.

This was a very secluded place that was not too far from Natural Bridge. Good communication with the owner of the site and they were very easy to talk to. Recommend this site if you are in the Red River Gorge/Natural Bridge area.

This site is definitely secluded, but that was exactly what we were looking for! Enjoy the drive out and get settled in for a weekend. Plenty to keep you busy for a few days with trails and creeks to explore.
The site was well maintained, the hosts were friendly and easy to work with, and the experience was great. Nothing will beat the view of the night sky here!
Portapotty was a short walk from the site- we were at Site 2 and had plenty of cell phone service (Verizon) to feel safe in case of emergencies.
Friendly camp dog and cat kept us company and added a bit of security :)!

We really enjoyed this spot with our pop up camper. Very quiet and surrounded by beautiful nature. We were able to drive 35-40 minutes to some great hiking at Red River Gorge from Kartia’s spot. Highly recommend if you are looking for private and quiet off grid camping!

This is a small campground of about 4 sites. They have a couple of trails, one leading to a small waterfall. Sadly, I didn't get to hike the trails because of rain with cold Temps. I had the second site on the right and it was lovely. I could hear the creek all night and slept great. I was there over the holiday weekend and only one other site was occupied. It was quiet, peaceful and exactly what I was looking for. Kartia was able to provide a table and chair for me. There's no water or electric, which was fine for me. I have Verizon and while I didn't have cell service at my site, I did have service at the campground entrance, about 50 yards away. It's reasonably close to Red River Gorge too. Kartia was very responsive and helpful.

It looked a tad sketchy but once you went into town and saw how nice the people were it’s great not many hiking trails but if you like a challenge walking up the creek and traversing the rocks is a ton of fun with a friend camp ground itself is wonderful very spacious and I would go again but not all to much to do so not more than a weekend

We tent camped for 2 nights and had the place to ourselves. There was a pair of chickens that we made friends with right away and our normal people watching of camping turned into chicken watching and it was a blast! There are some old oil mining roads on the property that you can hike and a couple of creeks to play in.
