I thoroughly enjoyed this campsite, so much so we booked an extra night. The space was very well maintained and provided a beautiful piece of paradise for us. We also enjoyed the starry nights, creek, and wildlife. I highly recommend Jeff's campsite! Thank you for a wonderful vacation!!!

Nice area to camp. The creek was very pretty. We enjoyed the view from our hammocks. A great place for families to hang out, slow down and enjoy each other’s company

The campsite was spacious, clean and private. The creek was so pretty and clear. Easy to walk and even sit a chair in, read and enjoy. I really appreciated the availability of fire wood!

This was a great spot to camp! We really liked that each site was separate and ended up camping at the one close to the creek. The creek was really pretty and there was lots of great firewood that we used for a campfire! We really appreciated the table and chairs and the fire pit and enjoyed that we could bring our dogs too!

Jeffrey’s place is very nice with the stream that runs at the back of the property. Like a few of the tent campers we set up our tent along the stream which is not a designated camp site as the hosts point out but we had their permission to set up camp there. The ground near the stream is very soft and it was challenging to find a flat spot to set up our four person tent. We also noticed some broken glass that we had to move aside where we wanted to set up our tent. I do feel like we made a mistake not setting up camp in the designated camp site as we were not prepared to camp primitively. We should have taken use of the table and designated fire pit. One of the other reviewers mentioned there were some logs that could be used to build a fire, these were very damp so I would bring your own wood. As other reviewers mentioned the outhouse which is a composting toilet is quite a walk away from the camp sites, but it is very neat and clean and was an enjoyable experience for my first time using a composting toilet. There were a lot of gnats, ants and quite large spiders down by the creek, so again I would use the designated camp sites. That being said I have major issues with the fact that we booked this site because it was advertised as only being one site. When we got there we noticed there are three sites in total. They are screened from each other but definitely not a secluded camp site if that’s what you’re thinking. And as other campers mentioned there was a considerable amount of road noise. The scenery was beautiful especially having breakfast by the creek and Chris was very helpful in directing us to our campsite. I can not say if I would stay here again or not.

This site was amazing. We actually set up camp right next to the creek and used the mobile fire pit he had available. The creek was perfect for the kids to play in and not so deep and fast that I would have to worry about them. Everything was as good or better than expected. It was very secluded and we had a great time.

What a wonderful experience. We arrived at our campsite with a easy to find sign. We had been hiking at Dale Hallow. If you come from that direction, make sure you travel past the campsite sign to find the store, it’s next to a barn. Our host could not have been more friendly or helpful. Even though our campsite was close to the creek we wanted to set up closer to the creek and was allowed to do so. Our host even brought us a fire box for a camp fire. It worked perfect. During our hike we saw Dale Hallow’s tent camp site . We where so glad we choose this campsite- it was definitely the better choice. The composite toilet had everything you needed and more. Great experience will definitely recommend and stay again.

We had a great time at Camp Creek Side! The site was very large. We only used a small corner. The path to the creek is very accessible. The creek is beautiful and there were perfect trees to hang our hammock! There was plenty of firewood provided right next to the creek near the site. Lots of sunlight and no shade at the actual site. Bring a canopy! We opened up the back of our van and attached a tarp! Made for a perfect Memorial Day weekend getaway! The host was so incredibly nice through text prior to my stay and I didn't have to meet anyone or talk to anyone when arriving! I'm not much on being around people so this was perfect!!! There is a road near with regular traffic but it can't be seen due to natural barriers. Didn't bother us a bit! The toilet is further than we thought but we didn't plan on using it anyway. Thanks for the wonderful campsite, Jeffrey!

It is clear that the hosts put a ton of effort into creating and maintaining this camp site. The lawn was well kept, the fire pit and tables immaculate, paths were mowed. The entire campground was well appointed, clean, and well cared for.
The creek is beautiful, clear, and very accessible. It was private and peaceful. We would definitely return.
An added benefit (aside from the kindness of our hosts) was that our site smelled like sweet honeysuckle flowers from the surrounding plants. We had a wonderful time.

Very clean and we'll taken care of camp grounds. Owner was personable and very friendly, even bringing us bug spray when we forgot ours. Parking is right next to where you camp, so it's very convenient and would be great for Campers.
