Lex Cabin #1
Comfy, relaxing, tranquil
We loved it! Cindy has really created an amazing place to get some peace. It's really easy to forget you're in metro Lexington! Everything was really perfect.

Camp Lexington #3
This was a nice place to pull off for the night. We got there after dark, but in the morning we got to enjoy the rock garden, the stream and the outdoor shower. Lovely!

Hidden Gem in Lexington
First time using HipCamp and what a great place to start with! Cindy was super responsive before we even showed up for our weekend stay during a music festival weekend. It's was super hot that weekend and she made sure to put us in a shady part of the property. Cindy greeted us when arrived, showed us around the property amenities, helped us troubleshoot some items, and then let us enjoy the space. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking!! Thanks so much, Cindy!

It was boondocking. We used our tank of water that we brought with us. Water was available, however the water had taste of garden hose that we used at the very end. I would suggest a 50 A/30A receptacle near where we parked. Water could installed out to that same place to eliminate the ‘garden hose’ taste.
Cindy is a very charming gracious host. The Camp location seems to be centered around POI’s. This location could have room for 2 or 3 rigs if some thought went into positioning the sites. This is a very secluded peaceful and beautiful place

Adventure in city on last minutes n
I thought I had posted my review but apparently not... This was my first stay at a hipcamp, and was the first guest here, at the first and only listing inside Lexington city limits. It was a wonderful experience for my mother, my 2 year old son, and I. We chose this site, right after it was listed no less, because it was less than 10 minutes drive away from home which was important because it was 3pm the day of when we began planning to go. We set out on a spontaneous adventure and this fit the bill perfectly. We set our rent near the back edge of the property near the beautiful little stream and rock garden. There are some absolutely breathtaking trees on this property, with a wide range of species represented. The fire pit is near the back of the main house and it has ample seating. Also there is a little playhouse in the back yard, and a trampoline type swing in the front that she welcomed my son to use. But my favorite spot had to be among the 'zen' garden in the back. I sat there for some time the next morning meditating and stacking rocks. My son pretended it was a dragon's lair/castle. I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a quick getaway.

I just want to commend Cindy for being the first Lexingtonian to welcome campers on her property. Sleeping outside whether on a 100 acre farm or on a beautifully landscaped lot in the city can be incredibly restorative. If you're looking for a quick detox from modern life this is the ticket. Think of it as a modern life detox. Less is more. Next time I'll bring less of everything. Leave it all in truck. No tent. Just a hammock or cot and cool drinks, a towel, and a few layers for night time chill. There are just some jaw dropping gorgeous specimens across the property. I just so appreciate experiencing it like this! We'll be back regularly if you'll have us!
