Private secluded camp spot Near Lake Red Rock. Enjoy your own private 6.5 wooded acres to explore. There is a Spring-fed stream that runs through this property. Spot Abundant wildlife including turkey, deer, owls and eagles. Several trails wind through this camp. Pull your camper or pitch a tent. The restroom has enough solar power to charge all your devices. This property Borders Army corps of engineers land. Competine Creek is only 1200 feet from this camp and feeds into Lake Red Rock. Great for canoes or kayaks. This camp is Less than a 5 min drive to Lake Red Rock boat ramp. 8 min to Knoxville, 10 min to Pella. This is an off grid property with a clean, simple bathroom featuring a composting toilet and hand-washing sink.Owl’s Perch looks down into the forest and also has great views of the night sky. 3 or 4 rvs or travel trailers could camp simultaneously in the same party at this spot--Just pay the extra per person charge. My husband and I loved the campsite. Plenty of room to spread out and very secluded but close to hiking and historic Pella. Would definitely recommend!

What a spectacular gem this place is! If you have stumbled on this listing and are debating where to camp, choose Owl Perch. My friend and I tent camped here and the amenities were above what we expected. Here is a list: Grill grate Two fire pits Two picnic tables Compost “outhouse” (very clean & well lit) Trash can Hand washing SOLID CELL RECEPTION!! (Verizon & T Mobile) Manicured walking trails Lots of places to pitch a tent Shaded areas Sunny areas Star gazing Host communication 10/10 15-20 min drive to most of the state parks Walmart 10-15 min away So much space for any activity Quite day and night Privacy Bird watching galore This place is amazing and I will be back and I will recommend to my friends and family. I will not stay anywhere else near red rock lake. Such a lovely get away!

This was a great stay! Took our two dogs and tent camped for a weekend. Great space with lots of room. Great fire pit with a hanging grate for cooking. There is a little bathroom area, super clean, with a sink for water. We paid for wood and it was a huge amount. The owls at night were incredible! Many Barred Owls making calls. The private space was great with no worries having the dogs off leash. There is a small creek down the hill where the dogs could play. Would definitely come again!
