🌙 A Different Kind of Overnight Stop
We are not a campground. We are a working farm.
Sadona Farms is a small, 10-acre working farm in Southern Indiana, located just 5 minutes from the Scottsburg I-65 exit.
What we offer is something a little different: a peaceful farm stop for travelers who need a place to pull off the road, get some rest, and continue their journey the next day.
If you’re traveling up or down I-65 and simply need a place to stop for the night, you’re welcome here. Get off the interstate, settle in, stretch your legs, enjoy some fresh air, and get a good night’s sleep before getting back on the road.
If you’re looking for a traditional campground with full campground amenities, this is not it. We don’t have rows of traditional campsites, bathhouses, or the typical campground experience.
Instead, you’re staying on a real working farm, enjoying rustic dispersed camping and a little bit of farm life along your journey.
⛺ Rustic Dispersed Farm Camping
Our camping areas are grassy, dispersed camping spots throughout our working farm. The sites are not private or secluded, and depending on how many guests are staying, you may see other campers nearby.
That’s part of the experience at Sadona Farms. You’re camping on a working farm, surrounded by open space, gardens, animals, and farm activity.
We have three community fire pits located around the property that guests are welcome to enjoy. Bring your own chair, gather around the fire, and relax after a day on the road.
We also have one shared porta-potty available for camping guests.
Please come expecting a simple, rustic farm camping experience, rather than campground-style amenities.
🌱 You’re Staying on a Working Farm
Sadona Farms is a true working farm, and the property changes with the seasons.
We grow lavender and flowers, maintain a market garden, and have chickens, goats, peacocks, and honeybees on the farm.
During the growing season, our farm stand may have farm-fresh eggs, honey, seasonal vegetables, baked goods, and other farm products available. The farm stand operates on the honor system, so feel free to stop by and see what we have available during your stay.
🚗 Convenient for I-65 Travelers
Our location is what makes Sadona Farms such a unique stop.
We’re approximately 5 minutes from I-65, making it easy to get off the interstate, rest for the night, and get back on the road the next morning without going far out of your way.
We’re about 2 miles from the Scottsburg town square and approximately 10 minutes from Walmart if you need food, groceries, or other travel necessities.

We offer a farm-fresh breakfast delivered right to your RV or tent at 7:30 a.m.

Fluffy pancakes, scrambled eggs, and sausage, featuring eggs from the chickens right here at Sadona Farms.
🍳 Biscuits & Gravy Breakfast — $14 per person
Fresh biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, and fresh fruit.
Just let us know the night before you go to bed if you’d like breakfast. We’ll have it ready and deliver it right to your campsite at 7:30 a.m.
It’s the perfect way to start your morning before getting back on I-65 and continuing your journey.

Dispersed Camping(6 spots) — Garden Fence Site
Our Garden Fence camping area is located about one-third of the way back on our property, along the outside of our large garden fence. This is a grass camping spot and is a great option for travelers looking for a simple, peaceful overnight stop before continuing on to their next destination.
We are conveniently located just minutes from I-65, near the Scottsburg and Henryville exits, making Sadona Farms an easy stop to get off the road, enjoy a quiet night on a small working farm, and get a good night’s sleep before hitting the road again.
This is our closest camping area to the porta-potty, which is only a short walk away.
You are welcome to use your own personal propane fire pit at your campsite.
If you prefer to park in the nearby gravel area, the campsite is only about a one-minute walk away. Because the camping spot is on grass, weather and ground conditions can affect vehicle access. If the ground is too wet, muddy, or snowy to drive back to the site, you can park in our gravel area and easily walk your camping gear back to your spot. We also have additional gravel parking available as a backup for RVs when conditions require it.
Please remember that this is a working farm, so you may see normal farm activity during the day. Things generally become quieter toward the evening, giving you a chance to relax and enjoy your overnight stay.

Site 3 – Gravel Back-In Site
A convenient, safe overnight spot located toward the front of our property, right next to our home. This is a gravel back-in site best suited for RVs and campers under 30 feet.
This is a no-hookup site. Guests are welcome to use a generator, but please observe our quiet hours from 9 PM to 7 AM, when generators must be turned off.
It’s a great spot for a simple overnight stay—pull in, get settled, and enjoy a safe, comfortable place to sleep before getting back on the road.
