These campsites are located along the lower half of our property and are tucked into fun little sites bordering our off road trail built for Jeeps, Broncos, and other similar off road vehicles. These are primitive style sites and cell phones likely will not work on any of our sites. This is truly a way to get away and just disconnect for a while! There is a VERY steep entrance into the camping area and a small water crossing is also necessary. Low clearance vehicles, cars, campers/trailers, and RV's will not be able to access the zone. If you'd like to camp at one of our sites and have a vehicle that won't qualify -- we do have friendlier parking but it will require quite a hike to get to your site or we can offer you a ride as well.

The Queen's Spring Circle

This site circles around a tree which is the centerpiece of the site. It also borders a natural spring that's hidden on the back side of the site. This fun set up offers niece views of the Community Grassland Camp and borders the Archway Oaks site. Cell phones likely will NOT work at any of our camping site areas. Firewood will be available -- however, at this time, you'll need to provide your own fire pit. **SPECIAL INFO -- if you need to anchor a tent -- the ground here has a good dirt base but you may encounter limestone rocks**

Community Grasslands Camp

Oh the visions we have for this!!! Do you have a large group who wants to tent camp? Maybe several jeeps with campers who want to form a community circle? The options are endless with this space! This area is out in the open grassland that borders ALL of our sites, borders a small creek, and has plenty of views of Foley's 4x4 Timber Trail. It is far away from the road and still offers some privacy from the neighboring property. We cannot wait to see the set ups you create here! **SPECIAL INFO -- if you need to anchor a tent -- the ground here has a nice dirt base but you may encounter limestone and other types of rocks. You may need special anchors/drill**

The large and mature oak trees form a beautiful archway over the entrance to this site! This is one of our smaller sites but will still allow ample space for you to enjoy yourself! This site is next to The Queen's Spring Circle and offers a view of the Community Grassland Camp as well. Cell phones likely will NOT work at any of our camping site areas. Firewood will be available -- however, at this time, you'll need to provide your own fire pit. **SPECIAL INFO -- if you need to anchor a tent -- the ground here has a good dirt base but you may encounter limestone rocks**

With a beautiful limestone backdrop it also offers views of the grasslands, timber, and "the drop" as well as the end of Foley's 4x4 Timber Trail. This site borders The King's Space and is across from The Rocky Drop. Cell phones likely will NOT work at any of our camping site areas. Firewood will be available -- however, at this time, you'll need to provide your own fire pit. **SPECIAL INFO -- if you need to anchor a tent -- the ground here is SOLID limestone. You will need to pre-plan for special anchoring**

The Rocky Drop

It is a smaller site and offers less tree coverage. During our off road trail events you'll see the vehicles traveling through the water section of our course as well as have an awesome view of our trail spot called "the drop." Cell phones likely will NOT work at any of our camping site areas. Firewood will be available -- however, at this time, you'll need to provide your own fire pit. **SPECIAL INFO -- if you need to anchor a tent -- the ground here is a mix of dirt and limestone rock. You may need special anchors/drill**

It's tucked into a nicely shaded area and has plenty of room for a large set up and will easily fit a couple of jeeps with campers on them or 3 large tents. This site is located across from our water section of Foley's 4x4 Timber Trail and also offers a front row view to the fan favorite (or least favorite) section of our off road trail which we've nicknamed "the drop." The site also borders The Oaky T and grasslands area. Cell phones likely will NOT work at any of our camping site areas. Firewood will be available -- however, at this time, you'll need to provide your own fire pit. **SPECIAL INFO -- if you need to anchor a tent -- the ground here is limestone with a light dirt covering. You may need special anchors/drill**

Muddy Creek Peepers 1

This site is tucked in on the opposite side of our property from our tent sites and is near the end of our Jeep & Bronco trail before it crosses the driveway for the final stretch. The Oaky T

Tucked into a nice little cove near the rock quarry and along the grasslands -- this fun site also gives you a little view of the water section of Foley's 4x4 Timber Trail. If you're at this site during one of our events -- you'll definitely see and hear all the fun of those choosing to go through the water section of our course. This site borders The King's Space and has easy access to Community Grassland Camp. Cell phones likely will NOT work at any of our camping site areas. Firewood will be available -- however, at this time, you'll need to provide your own fire pit. **SPECIAL INFO -- if you need to anchor a tent -- the ground here has a good dirt base but you may encounter limestone rocks**

AMAZING JEEP/CAMPOFF-ROAD FRIENDLY

The King's Space
IF YOU JEEP & CAMP, this place is a MUST!!! Superb weekend we have just had ourselves. Sarah is an awesome host, super responsive in her replies, she is really friendly and welcoming and made sure we felt at home. We went during a jeep meet/fundraiser event and spent a whole day out on the off road course, we even got to ride with Carl who took us around the course backwards which was really cool. We met some lovely people and had some really great conversations with fellow jeepers. We stayed at the kings space camp site and found it awesome for two of us and our dog. Enough space for our jeep gladiator, 6 man tent dining area with plenty of space to spare. The best part about it was our campsite was right on the back door of the trail! We came home with two Trail badges and some awesome tshirts and trucker hats aswell which were extremely reasonably priced. We pre ordered a dozen farm fresh eggs which were given on arrival and were gorgeous for breakfast. We were made to feel welcome immediately and had no pressure to join in with the festivities. Family atmosphere, fun things to do for all ages, gorgeous well kept grounds and surroundings. The off road course it self was so cool, Carl Had built it him self and it truly is a fun time, challenging but not too challenging. Carl is continually changing and adding to the course so every-time we go back it will be different with different challenges. Plus this is probably the only JEEP/OFF ROAD FRIENDLY PLACE IN ILLINOIS!

The Queen's Spring Circle
We spent two wonderful nights primitive camping on Sarah and her family’s beautiful property. Sarah was a great host, welcoming, helpful, and friendly. The property is peaceful and a perfect alternative to crowded campgrounds if you want to truly enjoy nature and privacy. We loved our stay and would definitely come back again!

The Quarry
The Foley family is extremely helpful, they welcome all. The trails well let me say you dont be disappointed. The amount of work and effort they put into creating a huge play land for your off road vehicle is by far superior. Oh and be sure to say hi to Dale (Emu) and Pretty boy (Turkey). Highly recommend visiting Foleys.

Loved this campsite—super peaceful and surrounded by nature. The 4x4 trail getting in was a fun little adventure and totally worth it. Great place to unplug, make a fire, and enjoy the stars. Would definitely come back!

Wow what a fun place! Great camping spot. We managed to camp across the road from the quarry. Either place is great. We rented a fireplace and it was excellent. We did the late check in and timing was great. We got the farm fresh eggs and they were very good. Also, we purchased a trail pass for the 2 jeep trails on the property. These were very fun and very well thought out. I drove my 2009 FJ cruiser and did both loops. Very fun weekend. We stayed 2 nights. The camp host was very, nice and very hospitable. She even made sure my 7 year old son was having fun. Lots of people at the site and in the trails. everyone was nice. Thank you We will be back.

This was a great camping experience for me and my family. The Foley family was great and welcoming. Their children helped us get set up by bringing us firewood and made sure we were good when we arrived. There was a offroading event happening the same time we were there which made the trip even more memorable. The trails were so much fun and very well kept! Met some great people and my daughter even made friends with one of the Filey children and they literally spent the whole day playing together. We are already planning our next trip out there and will definitely try to make it out to their next event.

Perfect sites for overlanders

The Rocky Drop
These are awesome primitive campsites along an jeep/off-road vehicle trail, 4x4 is required is access them and you have an awesome view on the vehicles hitting the trails. Campsites are perfect for off-grid/overlander vehicles. Sarah and her family are wonderful people and very welcoming. Farm fresh eggs available as well so no need to bring your own eggs for breakfast, we made French toast using the eggs and they were delicious! Some large campsites available as well so get s group together and come camp/off road!! Trail access comes with the reservation of a camp site.

The Quarry
Our stay at Foley’s 4x4 Timber Trail was unforgettable! The host was warm and welcoming, offering to take us on an incredible 4x4 Jeep ride to explore the Timber Trail—a thrilling adventure through stunning scenery. Their kids were a joy, generously helping with fire pits and leading a fun, short hike to collect berries that added to the experience. The campsite was well-maintained and perfect for our needs. So much to offfer. Thanks to the host’s hospitality and their kids’ enthusiasm, this trip was truly special. We’re excited to return!
