Great hipcamp near barn with full hookups. The road was busy during certain times of day but quiet at night. Lots of room for our dog to retrieve. Great location to explore Hayden and Couer d’Alene!

Nice quiet level spot. Access to water/power. Easy to find and park. Lots of space for my Class B and will fit larger vehicles.

Good spot for weekend

Nice spot close to Hayden Lake and Coeur d Alene. Harder for larger rigs to park if other camping spot is being used, but was able to manage. Utilities were a bit far away. Property was nice and it was easy for dog to roam without bothering anyone else.

Overnighter at Rimrock

Scott was a great host. Very spacious and beautiful property full of wildlife. Leveling was easy and all the hookups were easy access.

Overall, the site was easy to get to and from. There were two other campers: one in an electric spot who mentioned he had been there for a long time, and another with a tent structure who played loud music on Sunday afternoon without consideration for others. The site was mowed and had plenty of golfer-type holes.

Not the Same as Before

We stayed here for the second time because our first visit was so peaceful and enjoyable. Unfortunately, this visit was a very different experience. There has been a homeless family living on the property since April with two young children. While I genuinely feel for their situation, it significantly changed the atmosphere of the property and made us uncomfortable during our stay. When we arrived, we tried to park farther away from their campsite, but the only available grassy area was riddled with large prairie dog holes, making it difficult to level our RV and creating a safety concern. This property has so much potential, and our first experience is the reason we came back. I hope the host can address these issues because it really is a beautiful place when it’s maintained as a campground.

Everything was as expected. Nice place to stay. Scott was great on communication. There was a zip line and rope swing that the grandkids had fun on. You do have to really be looking for the right driveway as there are 3 or 4 of them there.

We stayed 2 nights on Scott’s property and really enjoyed our time. Beautiful level spot with full hook ups, quiet and peaceful but not too far out of town or off the freeway. Very convenient layover spot. 10/10 would stay here again.

Great location, zip line #1

Stayed at Scott’s field during a kids soccer tournament. The location was close enough to all the games yet far enough away that you weren’t in town or crowded in with a bunch of other RVs. The kids LOVED the rope swing and zip line. My only complaint was the tent campers that were living there. While they were very nice and friendly, they did have constant loud TV or radio at all hrs of the day. Kind of dampened the ‘camping’ vibe. Regardless, we would definitely stay there again.

Perfect Place

Rimrock Gardens was perfect with lots of space to play and relax with beautiful sunset views. The rope swing and zipline were fun for the kids. The private site was great for our 3 dogs. We’ll definitely be back!

We enjoyed staying on Scott's land very much! We see elk everyday and the grandchildren loved the swing and zip line. Close to town without being in town was great. We had a wonderful stay.

Perfect spot right outside of Coeur d'Alene, clean, quiet, and beautiful farm country. Scott was a very generous host and gave us some great tips on some hidden gems in the area. We will definitely be back!

Camping with kids & animals

We had a great experience here! We arrived about 5 and Scott came right out to check on us. He shared all sorts of local information to support our stay. We had the full hookup site in front of the properties barn with fire area. This was such an easy, quiet and relaxing stay. We were allowed to gather wood from the property and our dogs could be off leash. Our two kids woke up at 6am to use the zip line before we had to leave for the day. Then back on it once we returned. If we ever return to the area we would stay here again.
