We live on a 10-acre property with 5 acres thoughtfully developed with a cozy log home, horse pasture, workshop, and expansive garden, paired with 5 acres of a pine and aspen forest rolling up a gentle hill—offering the perfect blend of rustic living and natural beauty. There is also the opportunity to connect with the horses, jump on the trampoline or use the tennis court. If you are traveling with your own horses, there is a pasture available for turn out. This property is less than 10 minutes to the town of Spirit Lake where you can enjoy kayaking, boating, paddle boarding, and swimming. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask.On the 10 acre property, we have horses, cats, and 1 small dog along with a large garden, tennis court, and trampoline, and a 5 acre forest. Welcome to our 1st site which is the open mowed-lawn space on the right about 100 feet inside the gate. It sits against the lodge pole pines on one side and the tennis court and horse pasture on the back side. Help yourself to a spigot which provides good well-water, just beyond the far end of the tennis court. The road noise is moderate and even though the trees provide a privacy barrier, the communiting traffic is heavy early in the morning and in the evening and moderate throughout the day. Be prepared with ear plugs if traffic noise wakes you before your ready. And of course we hear coyote packs yipping and howling, and the neighbor dogs have their moments as well! The great benefit of this site is easy access to local lakes, and also a quiet place to retreat and play in your own flow. It’s also a great place to layover with horses! I have a large pasture available with access from this campsite. We have a 3 friendly barn cats. They typically stay close to the barn/house, but they do go on adventures and love attention, especially the black and white one named Binks. She will try to get in your vehicle or tent so keep an eye out. If you need anything, please ask. And if there is another spot on the property you would rather park, I am open to that too!
