This was a beautiful and wonderfully private campsite. My wife and I celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary here, and the views and quietness were superb. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants a private getaway. I will be reserving this site again in the future.

This was a beautiful and serene one night stop over for us. We saw so many deer, grazing in the field across the water. The fire pit was great and the views were peaceful. Would stay here again.

Amazing site. Extremely private and spacious. The lake was beautiful and the trail down to the turnaround at the point worked out well with little ones.

It was a beautiful and private spot. Michael was a very communicative host and incredibly kind and helpful. Our car actually got stuck at the top of the gravel hill and Michael came to help pull us over the hill. (And just to add, it wasn't a bad road at all. Our Honda pilot is pulling a pop up camper and cargo storage on top, it was just too much for our car with the weight it was towing.) Would definitely recommend!

We loved our stay. The campsite is located on a beautiful lake that has almost no traffic. It a quiet and peaceful place to relax. Kayaking the lake with the kayaks available was so much fun. Michael was very responsive to all of our questions. Would definitely come back again!!

This place was so peaceful,so quiet and surine. Noone bothered nor disturbed us .Was great to let go,relax fish and just enjoy God's creations. Time to Release Lake pretty was great to unplug for a while. Will definitely go back .

It was a really nice and cozy camping spot. It was quite, peaceful, and having the small lake to fish on was plus. Our kids enjoyed going out on the provided john boat for fishing, and a huge plus that firewood is provided. Would recommend this place, in fact we have recommended this spot to several friends when they make their way down to Georgia.

Mike was awesome, embodied southern hospitality. When we arrived, I was concerned about low hanging limbs. Called Mike, and within 5 minutes he showed up with a pole saw and trimmed back low hanging limbs so my 13’ 5” Coach was able to easily pass once Mike trimmed back the limbs. Site was great with lake views and peaceful environment. We will return!

Arrived and was a bit concerned about low hanging limbs. Called Mike and he responded, “no problem, I’ll be out in five minutes with a pole saw.” Mike came right out and we walked the road together, cutting all low hanging limbs so that my coach could easily pass. The site was awesome, with table, chairs and nice fire pit. Very nice view of the lake and several crafts to choose. We chose the bateau and paddled around the lake. The site was private and we enjoyed a very nice evening. Mike was such a nice guy and ensured we were comfortable before he returned home. Highly recommend this secluded site.

We will definitely be back. The site was exactly as described we loved how peaceful and secluded it felt. The views of the lake were great! My husband enjoyed fishing and I enjoyed the kayaks. Our dogs enjoyed the lake and lots of area to explore. Having full hook ups and WiFi were perfect! He even provided firewood! We had a hot weekend so we didn’t build a fire but would like to come back when it’s a little cooler! Also if you walk to the point the sunset was amazing!

We had a wonderful time! Quiet and peaceful . No one bothered us. There were 2 kayaks and a little Jon boat for you to use on the dock.

Very nice site just as shown in pictures. Very easy to get to. Rained on us some but still had a wonderful time fishing and relaxing. Was a little concerned about comments about large hills. Not bad at all, I’m from north Ga. Kinda giggled after I saw “the hill” so if that’s keeping you from trying this site don’t worry about that just go you will be thankful you did!

Overall, this was a good campsite and could have been just what we were looking for. The private drive actually is accessible by neighbors and was not very private or peaceful on a Saturday morning. By 6:30am there were people driving by to load a boat into the lake. Mid-morning there were kids on 4wheelers and golf carts hauling down the gravel road and screaming. When driving back down the driveway one kid almost sideswiped me as I was attempting to pull into the campsite.
Ultimately, the host is at no fault for the behavior of the neighbors and I don't blame them for that. Just understand that the private drive is not very private.

Very nice campsite with terrific views and peaceful and quiet. The road behind the site goes down to a boat dock that the neighbors use to access the lake. There is a circular drive there so you can just drive your camper out to the end of the road and drive around the circle to get turned around. There is a 110 outlet to plug into, which is nice as our camper is only wired for 110. No one bothered us while there and we had a nice peaceful weekend. You do see people here and there like on the lake fishing, or riding by on the road, but it's private for the most part.

This is a real hidden gem near Athens, GA. Full hookup and a great location beside a reservoir. We arrived the day after Hurricane Helene moved through Georgia and the water level was pretty high, but no trees were down and the roads leading to it were clear and easily passable.

The campsite was great! Private for the most part. Very quiet and peaceful, the sound of the water rushing through the spillway on the lake was soothing as well and was about the only constant sound I heard. Would definitely recommend staying! I surely will again!

Full hook up’s and a big open site near water, what else do you need, If we are through this area again we will definitely return.. The road in and out is a little tricky for a bigger rig but it can be done.

Beautiful camping spot right at the water! Excellent fishing, caught a 30lb catfish! Brim, bass, & crappy. Very peaceful & private. Most definitely will be back!

Very nice RV set up, pull through flat gravel surface, nice camp site with charcoal grill, table chairs and a fire pit. Great view.pf the lake.
Only drawback, we went on the hottest weekend this year June 14th, highly recommend this site

We had a great time camping on Michael’s property! Everything was well maintained with enough privacy. We enjoyed kayaking and fishing on the lake, as well as grilling out and having a bonfire at night. Would highly recommend!!!
