Lisa has such a fun space here! Right on the water, you can paddle straight from the dock to Weeki Wachee state park and other really cool sites. Super close drive to Weeki Wachee state park and even chassahowitzka and Homosassa. Spent the day outside on the dock and the night inside the enclosed patio playing darts. Such a fun get away. Perfect location. Bed is very comfortable. Wake up to the manatees right outside the window.

This is a perfect get away. Fish, paddleboard, kayak or swim right behind the house. Lisa is an awesome host. She is very responsive to questions and has lots small useful accessories for the trip. The best thing about this area is there is a Mermaid trail to find lots of beautiful Mermaids. Thanks Lisa!!

Main River House
This place was amazing. Literally had EVERYTHING you could need or want. I felt very welcomed from the start. My fiance and I love it as well as my dogs. We were out in the water or on the patio enjoying the view the whole time.

This place should not be rented or available to rent. In order to get in the property, you have to wrestle with a sliding glass door. Then you go upstairs. In order to get out on the porch, you have to wrestle with another sliding glass door that I thought was dangerous. It felt like the frame was going to dislocate from the glass. The rail on the porch also seemed flimsy and I asked my husband not to lean on it. This property looks like there has not been a renovation since it was built but more importantly there is stuff everywhere, looking like it’s covering up for anything the owner doesn’t want you to see.
It was not a comforting experience. We paid for 3 nights and stayed only 2. I would not recommend this property and encourage staying elsewhere.

We were quite disappointed with our stay at this property. Upon arrival, despite informing the owner of our expected time, we found only one air conditioner on in the king bedroom with the door closed, leaving the second bedroom, hallway, and bathroom unbearably hot— it was like a literal sauna. With just two small window units in total and being on the second floor, it took nearly a full day to cool the space sufficiently for a comfortable sleep and shower (not to mention being drenched in sweat while using the toilet). The sink in the bathroom is coming off the wall, the floors are lifting in places, and overall I’d say this is glamping at best. Which we were just not expecting for a house or the cost.
The shared first-floor area which was a patio, lacked proper air conditioning and featured only a small sink and some plug-in cooking units, making meal preparation impractical, especially with the heat. The shared nature of the space also meant we would have to trust the occupants of the downstairs unit with our food in a shared fridge as there was only a small drink fridge in the unit. The entry door itself had a flimsy turn lock that was difficult to secure and would push open.
Overall, this property did not meet our expectations for comfort particularly in Florida’s 106 degree heat, and safety and we ended up leaving the next day. The location is all you’re paying for here and even the river was so packed it was like bumper cars trying to get through masses of people…

The perfect place to unplug, swim, float, kayak, paddle board, see manatees and enjoy the natural springs that surrounds you. Docked the kayaks by a local swimming hole and enjoyed a great lunch at a restaurant on the water, then headed back to our little slice of Heaven! If you time the tide with your paddling it makes for a relaxing trip. We will definitely be going back!!!

Lisa's property was wonderful,the beds were so comfortable and the view was beautiful! We went out the kayaks and went up to Rogers Park, my family came up and played all afternoon off the rope swing off the seawall! Everything was clean and we had an amazing time!

My husband and I like to visit Weeki Wachee at least once a year, to spend the day kayaking. We've always wanted to get a place right on the river to stay for a few days, and we finally did that here at Lisa's river house. It's right on the weeki wachee river, with a 10 minute paddle east to Rogers park spring head, or a 10 minute paddle west to the Gulf of Mexico. We paddled mostly up the weeki wachee river while we were there. We seen manatees, dolphins, turtles, and a variety of fish.
The beds were very comfortable and the view was serene. There is a queen size bed in one room, and a king in the other.
There is a large screened in porch/Florida room that is located downstairs with a coffee station, kitchenette, dining table, and outdoor sectional. We did most of our cooking on the grill and eating on the deck overlooking the river. There were a few kayaks, paddle boards, and one canoe on the premises. We brought our own kayaks, but our family that stayed with us used the ones on the property. Therefore we didn't have to reserve/rent any, which was great. If you enjoy paddling, nature, the outdoors, and adventure, I highly recommend this no frills, peaceful paddle home 🌼✌️

Fantastic place! The beds are really good and there is good water pressure in the shower. The view is gorgeous. If you paddle straight forward from the edge of the sea wall, Rogers park and the Upper Deck restaurant are not far at all. Our host had everything set up beautifully for us. Even a few kcups for the keurig downstairs. The kitchen is on the screen porch with a dining table and sectional. It’s just antennae tv because there’s no Wi-Fi. We had enough network to stream some golf and other data with our phones. We were there to paddle and we did every day. The river is so pretty and gets clearer the farther west you paddle. We saw more manatees on this trip than we ever have before. The place is chock full of them.
