Shhhh don’t tell anyone but this Hipcamp is Paradise 💖 right ON the River, peaceful, breezy, private, wonderful path through the woods, surprising little “fairy lights” scattered about the property, and sunsets that are THE MOST Magical ☀️💥🧡

I had such a wonderful experience on Holly’s property! Full hookups right on the St. John’s river with a dock. She also has an adorable Airbnb boat house that was only occupied
for one night while I was there so I was able to let my dog run free and even use the small hiking trail that was available. I was only there with my small RV but if I’m ever in that area again I’m definitely going to have to ask about use of that adorable boat house! Holly was incredibly kind and quick to respond when I had any questions. HIGHLY recommend this place for RV or Airbnb

I am a loss for words . Absolutely beautiful. Holly is an awesome host. The view could not be beat so quiet. We will be back. Telling the family will be with us in the awesome Air b&b. I can’t say enough good about this place.

We had a great weekend camping on Holly’s property. We used our 22ft travel trailer, which fit perfectly in the spot she had us set up in. The water and electric hookups were easy to set-up. The riverfront view was perfect (especially with the beautiful, cool weather we had), with amazing sunsets and easy fishing access. The property is quiet, even with other guests, and Holly and her daughter were so friendly and accommodating. Our nephew had a chance to feed their horses, play with their goat Pickles, and hold some chicks. We had a great stay, very relaxing, and will definitely be back.
Definitely heed Holly’s warning on the well water. The only other recommendation we would have is to be mindful of ticks, especially if you bring dogs. Other than these two minor recommendations, this place is perfect and one of our favorites we have found on Hipcamp!

Beautiful lakefront property! Enjoyed being able to pull up to the water and plug in. Holly was amazing! We enjoyed chatting with her and she gave us some good suggestions for things to do in the area. Palatka is a very sweet little town! Her property was charming and well kept. We will be back!

This was one of the best campsites I have been to. We normally camp at state parks and have done one hipcamp before this one. Holly was super helpful, and had a 100ft extension power cord and 100ft water hose so you can camp closer to the water. It was very serene and beautiful. Would definitely stay again! She was also super friendly.

Stayed another night!
Got to try some fishing on their private awesome pier! Saw manatee and a gator!
The out house is actually a real toilet and it’s very nice! I was able to use the outside shower after the host let us enjoy the amazing pool!!

Beautiful location with several spots that you can put your RV or tent right on the water. The spot that we put our camper in right in front of the rocks was very level. There's another spot where you could back up under the trees which isn't quite as level but is still a beautiful spot to be in. Our host was very accommodating. The gnats were a little annoying in the late afternoon and evening. At least they were not biting us. We will definitely be returning.

Fantastic place to stay. The view and the location are simply beautiful. My wife and I were there only 1 night, with our furbaby, while passing through. So sorry we could stay for another sunset AND sunrise. Nearly perfect... Almost Heaven... But not the West Virginia kind; the Florida kind. We are amateur birders from Ohio but we were able to watch the ospreys feeding their young, in their nest, right in front of us on the mast of a ship anchored 300 ft off shore from us while having our morning coffee on the dock. Truly a lifetime memory for us. Thank you!!

Magical place to hangout. We enjoyed our visit on the river. Quiet out of the way location, great place for star gazing. Access to utilities, water and electricity a breeze. Bike trail from St Augustine to palatka a treat to ride. Will plan to visit again next time in the area.

We loved this cute little spot! We ended up here because our previous plans got cancelled and Holly accommodated us at the last minute. We are tent campers and she usually only has RV's but this spot was fine for us. Right on the water! If you are looking for total privacy this won't be the spot for you because it is directly in someone's back yard, steps from their house... but it was quiet, has a beautiful dock and we could hear the owls hooting and birds chirping! We also saw a few alligators in the river.
The bathroom is a cute little outhouse that looks practically brand new with a flushing toilet. We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful quiet location on St. John river with wonderful sunsets. Holly was the perfect host and checked to make sure we had everything we needed. There are several nice restaurants in nearby Palatka and only a 30 minute drive to St. Augustine. If you want to enjoy nature, water sunsets, quiet camping and nearby available infrastructure you cant do better than Holly's Sunset Escape.

This is a perfect solitary and very beautiful location right on the St Johns River. Complete with nice dock and a super friendly host. We will be going there again so thank you Holly for your very friendly hospitality

Beautiful spot with gorgeous views on the St. John’s river. Private level site that offers sun or shade. Access to kayaks and dog friendly. 30 amp power as well. I will definitely be back.
