We’re a FARMHER owned micro-farm in Northeastern Tallahassee within a few miles from I-10. The farm is a back-to-nature wellness glamping facility, in the city. We believe in enjoying the abundance of nature, with a few creature comforts. THE FARM- The farm started in the late 1800’s and has remained untouched since 2012, when the family farmhouse burnt. The farm's infrastructure is still present today, and we’ve started to uncover it after 20+ years. Purchased in 2023, Our new farm will provide a place to learn about sustainability as we practice being a good steward of the land. The backbone of the farm. We aim to serve the growing interest in ECOtourism & AGRItourism, by educating the public with farm tours. We will practice *Permaculture * Food forest *Low carbon footprint *Regenerative Farming & Rotational Grazing with *HERITAGE animals. Most of our HERITAGE animals are “MINI” and part of our traveling therapy program (zoo). The farm animals aid in the conservation efforts and create awareness of historic farm animals going EXTINCT, due to industry practices. (livestockconservancy.com) Every acre of the farm is a unique experience and our “special places” create lasting memories. Our favorite is “The Manger”. We plan to restore the old cattle shoot, holding pens and “manger” structure. In the future it will be a historical therapy petting zoo. We love our animals and they all serve multiple purposes on the farm. The farm’s one of the last larger parcels, undeveloped, in the area. Two miles from I-10 interchange, NEW Tractor Supply, Wendys, Amazon, and a new Gas station. Founded on the love of animals and a passion for sustainability, we remain committed to compassionate practices and the most natural care of our land and animals as possible. As stewards of the land and herd, we believe we have a responsibility to share nature's blessings. We offer several agritourism opportunities on the farm, from farm stays to day visits. It is our goal to create a space where our visitors can have fun and learn about the animals who share that space. We also strive to serve as a valuable resource for first time goat owners. FURRY FRIENDS OVERNIGHT **Most of our rentals will offer private paddocks for their horses- limited spaces while we expand. IF YOU HAVE A HORSE TRAILER, ASK ABOUT SITES OR PARKING. *All horses staying overnight must pay overnight board fee.*Ask about available paddocks/round pens. * Trail/schooling fee not included. Horse transporters, competitors, staycations, evacuees, anyone traveling I-10, or nearby, will have a place to stay with your horses. Transporters can come in LATE and leave EARLY, after horses can stretch & rest. Horse staycations allow a chance to vacation with horses, or seek shelter from a storm. Horse competitors going to local show barns need horse boarding too. COME SEE US. Dog competitors and owners- Dog owners preferring not to stay at a hotel or relatives, when visiting. Dog competitors coming to Tallahassee or traveling through can come where there’s space for dogs to run. **WARNING** We are a new WORKING FARM. We are now open to the public but please understand we are working everyday to make improvements. Its not perfect but we think you’ll love it. You will see and hear all the farm sounds! You can pet the goats and we have animal experiences available to bottle feed them. It's always a big hit and makes great photos. Come and de-stress by snuggling our goats. These bouncing bundles of joy are guaranteed to make you smile! There are chickens and guinea fowl that are all personable and love to be fed. We also have two mini therapy certified horses, and two mini ZEBU cows that love to eat from your hand. We offer farm tours!!! There are livestock guardian dogs that protect the farm. They sleep lots during the day and patrol at night so they BARK lots at night... **Again we are a REAL WORKING FARM. SIGN UP for the animal feeding experience. It’s an upclose experience to help hand feed the whole herd, collect eggs and learn all about our special animals and see all the unique personalities we have here on the farm. If you are real adventurous you can help around the farm!!! LOCATION- We are located in northeast Tallahassee and only about twenty minutes from FSU stadium - straight shot! We love to host parents and students! Great weekend getaway! ***We also offer primitive camping sites as well in The Orchard area. No electric at campsites. WATER is available. *Need room for more occupants?? See optional add-ons for rental tent/screen rooms we will set up to allow for additional occupants at our units. Or pay small tent fee to bring your own and place near your site. KITCHEN- *We have a small outdoor kitchen area with grill, griddle, stove, utensils, and picnic table. Basic cooking supplies are provided in your unit (oil, salt, pepper, etc) basic cookware, utensils, disposable and washable cups and plates. You are welcome to pick from the garden when its complete. There is also a common area, to eat and hang out. We will soon have a community fire pit for all to enjoy. BATHHOUSE- In the Homestead area we have a small rustic community bath house with a hot shower and a running toilet. Soap, shampoo, conditioner, and fresh towels provided. The Primitive Orchard area has cold water faucets and compost toilet. Both bath houses are close to all overnight areas. CHECK IN/Check-out time may be flexible depending upon concurrent bookings! We ask that you clear your campsite by 11am, but you are welcome to spend the remainder of the day hanging out with the goats, riding or just relaxing. Check in time is 2pm or later. Unless you are a returning guest please arrive before 7pm. (ALL late arrivals must be approved ahead of time, unless emergency.) Late arrivals interfere with our chore routine and it’s hard to stop and show you around. Thank you. Feel free to message if you have questions! The herd looks forward to meeting you!! PARKING- Temporary UNLOADING/LOADING- Parking for one vehicle near site. Must park in nearby guest parking afterwards. It is for the safety of our animals. We have too many free roaming animals. Thank you for understanding. BUGS- Please be aware that beginning in mid-May for about six weeks is yellow fly season in north Florida! Mosquitos are around all the time but heavier near wet areas. Note: This is Florida and a rustic farmstay. There are bugs and spiders on the property. One may even end up in the domes or tents. Please understand this before complaining about bugs. I want to make sure everyone knows it happens! We love our domes and tents, but you should know this isn't an apartment in the city :)

Make yourself at home in our camping sites near our main Homestead area. The homestead area has a full bathroom and hot shower. Plus our community kitchen and community fire pit. **It’s also where all our animals roam free. ***All dogs must be Preapproved and pay a grounds pet fee for tent/rv’s. Look for fee in Add-on section of checkout. No electric at campsites. Limited generator rentals available. We have a water hookup in the main area if you need any tanks filled. We can show you places you can choose to camp and provide tables and a fire ring. *ALL campers have access to 50 acres plus the bathhouse and kitchen in the homestead area. ?? NEW LISTING- We’re more than a campground… we’re an experience! Read more below about our farm and therapy animals. We’ve recently added this longer site by our pond that measures 50’. The site is sand. It’s located near the main area we call the Homestead area. Our homestead area has our full bathroom with hot shower, the community kitchen, and is where all our animals roam free. No electric or water at this site currently but will have water soon. We do have water available in the homestead area if you need to fill up. We also have a generator for rent to run simple things like lights and fans. (Based on availability) We also offer “smaller” primitive camping sites as well in The Orchard area. No electric at campsites. There is a 25 gallon tank with spigot in the area for water. *Need room for more occupants?? See optional add-ons for rental tent/screen rooms we will set up to allow for additional occupants at our sites. Or pay small tent fee to bring your own and place near your site. HORSES **This site offers an optional 8 panel round pen for a horse to stay overnight. Currently no shelter. We ask that you clear your campsite by 11am, but you are welcome to spend the remainder of the day hanging out with the goats, riding or just relaxing. Check in time is 2pm or later. Unless you are a returning guest please arrive before 7pm. (ALL late arrivals must be approved ahead of time, unless emergency.) Farmstay Leroys lounge XL Bell tent
We loved camping out in Sandy’s Land. Our campsite Leroy’s lounge comfortably fit my husband, myself and our 6 children ranging from ages 6-15yrs old. We had the option for AC but didn’t take it there was plenty of ventilation and it rained every night so the temp wasn’t too bad. The kids loved feeding the animals, loved the two farm dogs, and had so many activities to do outside such as play in pool, archery, baseball, yard Jenga, badminton, etc. Additionally our hosts Steve and Sandy were super friendly and went out of their way to make this experience unique for us and our kids. They invited us to see their sister Farms horse show which was such a treat for both our oldest and youngest who are horse enthusiasts. My husband and I just enjoyed the peacefulness of their farm, the hosts hospitality, the beautiful starlight, and seeing our kids engage with one another and their neighbors w/out any blue screen for 3 days :)

We had the BEST time with Sandyland this weekend! We made a last minute decision to have a girls night for my birthday and we are so glad we did! We got to play with all of the furry friends, make smores by the fire, and the hosts could not have been more welcoming! Would definitely recommend this experience and we cannot wait to book again in the future! A true hidden gem in the Tallahassee area.

Sandy was so kind and helpful! True hospitality, showing our kids around the farm and the tent was just the space our family needed to crash for the night. The only negative thing was my husband went and had a shower and it was definitely cold water but maybe he couldn't find the hot water switch? Other than that, such a lovely stay, the kids loved it.

We had the most amazing time staying at Sandyland! We were incredibly happy with our Glamping tent. It was roomy and held our stuff and room to change just fine! The bathroom and shower were perfect! I was so happy to have a real toilet and sink for our stay. It was such an amazing experience to be around all the free roaming animals. They were so friendly and chill. We really enjoyed hanging out by the firepit and cooking hot dogs and smores. Our hosts were so friendly! We felt so welcome and a part of the family. This place is really a true gem. I highly recommend doing the feeding experience. It was one of the best parts of our trip. I also loved that Sandyland was close to a ton of dining and grocery stores. It was only 20 minutes to have a ton of places to choose from. Highly recommend checking out wakulla springs while you’re there!

When I was looking for a safe place to car camp for the night, I came across Sandyland and was immediately drawn in. Sandy was very attentive and kind even though it was a little late. In the morning I was surrounded by a welcoming and spirited bunch of goats, chickens, cows, dogs and humans. Sandy and Stephen create a memorable experience for all. Just being with the animals eased any stress I came with. I left there friends with everyone I met; the comradery was awesome. Sandyland is a safe haven where anyone can escape and feel safe and welcome. I can't wait to visit again, highly recommend 10/10.

We had an awesome time at Sandyland! Even though it rained, we stayed dry in our tent and the generator with cooling unit was a nice touch for temperature control. The owners did a great job providing directions and even gave us a tour of the property. There are tons of friendly animals on the farm ranging from dogs to chickens to trained goats. We have never stayed at a place quite like this, it is truly unique. Looking forward to our next visit already.

Our overnight stop at SandyLand Farmstay was absolutely amazing! Sandy was a lifesaver with our last-minute request and made sure our stay was perfect. Traveling with our two year old grandson, we were looking for an adventure and this farm was exactly that! He had the time of his life interacting with the animals and feeding them. Sandy was so accommodating, even keeping the guinea fowl separate to ease our little one's fears. The buggy ride through the woods was a hit too! They are still adding new things to the property, and constantly improving the land. The variety of camping options, from glamping to primitive to campers/RV, meant there was something for everyone. We all had a blast and would definitely stay at SandyLand Farmstay again. It was the perfect family getaway and we can't wait to come back! Thank you, Sandy, for a wonderful experience!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at SandyLand FarmStay Glamping and had an absolutely fantastic time. We were so pleased with our experience that we would definitely return. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible hospitality. The hosts were extremely accommodating and made everything so easy for us. They were always available and responsive to our needs, which made our stay even more enjoyable. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed and knew we were in good hands. The animals on the farm were a huge hit, especially with our son. He loved interacting with them and it added a special charm to our stay. The variety of animals and the opportunity to get up close and personal with them made it an unforgettable experience for him. The farm offers a unique and educational experience that is perfect for children, fostering a connection with nature and animals. Additionally, our son got the opportunity to try archery, which he absolutely loved and talked about for days. The joy on his face while practicing archery was priceless, and it quickly became one of the highlights of our trip. The campground itself was perfect for our tent. The property is large and offers plenty of space to explore, which is encouraged by the hosts. Great couple. Had a quick overnight stay but enjoyed it all. Clean bathrooms with sinks, well stocked. Places to hangout and fun things for kids. The animals are all part of the family. What an absolute pleasure staying at this location! We stayed in the Holt's Hideaway, but there's other really cool options to check out. Truly didn't expect all the amenities that are offered here, but nothing beats the warmest welcoming from our hosts! Sandy has so much love and passion for her farm, and it is truly one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. So many animals to love!!! We can't wait to tell EVERYONE about this spot! P.S. What a great experience!! We stayed in the Big Top and absolutely loved it!! Host were so friendly and made you feel like you were friends for a lifetime. The animals were a plus and the therapy horse was so cute!! I would definitely recommend this camp for all group types as they can accommodate singles, group events, family reunions, you name it. The endless ideas that ran through my head!! Sandy really goes above and beyond with accommodations!! This was HANDS DOWN the BEST HIPCAMP I’ve stayed at and I’ve been to quite a few!! Sandy’s Farm is a unique, back to the Earth experience. We parked our 2003 sprinter in a shady spot in the woods. The hosts are incredibly neighborly, offering help with Firewood and even breakfast. We were able to hike and bike around the property and feel like we were in an enchanted land. one of the most fun camping experiences we’ve had in our travels.

Ok ok I don’t know even where to start!!! This was the most rewarding stay I’ve ever had and no I’m not kidding from the dinner to well everything! The host sandy and her husband are just down to earth. Sweethearts and friendly people the best host you could ask for. And don’t get me started about the animals lol they are all well trained lovers lol the goats fallow you around the grounds and their female dog even came to our campsite until we were all set up and comfortable the poof she was gone and back up at the homestead site with her mom and dad and animals. Like people y’all really got to check this place out!!!!!! Not even a second guess for us we will continue to go back and build more memories with these folks! Oh and we have two teen girls and guess what not one of them were on there phones the entire stay. They had a blast and beg to go back again too!!!!

Camping on the Farm!

I loved tent camping on Sandy’s Land!! We got there later than expected and with rainy weather conditions, she waited for is and upgraded our site! So clean, had small things I would never of thought to put, like plates, cups, oil, all the things! Showers were great and so were the bathrooms! We loved hanging out with the animals afterwards. Hosts were so friendly and welcoming. We will be back!

The Big Top Lg group GLAMP Farmstay
This was one of our most unique and fun experiences. Sandy and her husband were superb hosts and made our stay very enjoyable. The Big Top tent was a ton of fun, and despite a severe rain storm, we were dry and loved the experience. Sandy invited us to follow her around as she fed the farm animals and told us their names! Their philosophy for sustainability and giving back to the community is to be applauded and supported. Yes! Book a stay here -- definitely. They are new and I can't wait to see how their dreams unfold over time. Thank you Sandy and Steve. We wish you all the best.

Sandy and Steven's farm is a wonderful opportunity to be surrounded by a large amount of flora, animals and a great, truly hospitable company led by Sandy and Steven. From the first moment I arrived, they welcomed me with unmatched hospitality. They have had an absolute disposition. Truly wonderful people. I RECOMMEND! Try the options that have food. I had the breakfast that Steven prepared and it was fantastic!
