Nice one night stay, fenced yard
30 ft travel trailer · With pets · I arrived rather late and it was dark.
Ashley was very sweet and helpful. This camp spot is in Ashley's back yard. (there is a fenced vacant lot beside her property that, at night and in the dark, confused me).
I called Ashley and she was immediately responsive and very helpful.
Upon arrival to the address, one pulls into (or "backs into" is probably better) the gated yard on the left side of house and into the back yard.
There was a huge tree for shade (which is great!) and a 30 AMP plug (be sure to bring your adapter, tho Ashley did offer one to me!)
There was a VERY bright back yard light and some pretty stringed lights around. Ashley offered for me to use her deck ( I did not). There was a hammock and fire pit also (which I did not utilize). Semi-private.
This site is a small drive from beachy areas (which I do not mind).
There were no restaurants that I trusted nearby, but I headed into town.
The immediate neighborhood seemed safe enough. Was quiet and clean enough. It was dark in the yard and even heard an owl. The lawn was free of debris and large enough to be comfortable ( I have a small towable tent/camper).
My only discomfort was the drive in and out of this area. The area is run down, with many closed and vacant businesses. At night I definitely didnt feel comfortable stopping anywhere. There were many seemingly homeless people on the main streets. I was approached while pumping gas during the day, but to be fair, this is in many areas now-a-days.
