Lucky U Ranch

We loved staying here. Mike and Rob were very fast with communication, the were very pleasant and so were all their staff. The sites all looked very nice. We stayed in the hobbit hole. Nice secluded flat spot with fire ring, an picnic table. The bathrooms and showers were very clean. They truly go above and beyond here and it’s easy to see why they’re top rated. 5/5 from us and we’d stay here again!

Best place to camp!

First of all, congrats to Rob and Mike on receiving the Best Hipcamp award for 2025! If anyone deserves it, it is them! My third visit here, and as always...it was amazing! Rob and Mike are the greatest hosts! They are so accommodating, super nice, and keep such great care of the property. Bathrooms and showers are always very clean. I just love the animals there, especially the horses and donkeys! I came this time to do some kayaking. So many awesome places nearby. My 9-year-old granddaughter usually comes with me but unfortunately, she had school. We feel so safe camping at this ranch! This is undoubtedly our favorite place to camp and will be coming back as much as possible!

Best hosts ever!

We loved our first Hipcamp experience here! We were treated like family by Rob and Mike from the escort to our beautiful well-maintained campsite with plenty of special touches like firewood, a night lantern, and large mat in front of our camper. Just a short walk away was a cute comfort station with a small well stocked kitchen, coffee service, hot showers with fresh towels, and clean flushing toilets. We enjoyed the huge property, hiking trails and animals that visited our campsite and the farm tour. We also explored some local areas like state parks, bike trails, and train museum. We already have reservations for our trip!

Lucky U is the real deal

Lucky U Ranch is even better in person than in the photos. Rob and Mike are awesome hosts, the animals are friendly, the kitchen and bath are well stocked, clean and convenient. Campsites are large. Thanks so much. I'll definitely be back!

Ranching at its best!!

Rob and Mike were exceptional hosts. Their property is large, quiet, and a great sample of "old Florida." We made a point of checking out all of the camp sites. All were quiet, private, and in a beautiful setting. The ranch animals were abundant, fun, and friendly. We would highly recommend the LuckyUranch... This was by far the best Hipcamp that we have visited..... hands down. Thank you Mike and Rob!!!

Breathtaking, so beautiful!

First off, Rob and Mike are amazing hosts! They went above and beyond with their ranch for the animals and the camping side of the property! There is so much thought that went into this camp site, from small details to large details you can feel the love they put into everything so their guests can enjoy camping but also be given the glamping experience with the bathroom with operational plumbing, heated showers, soaps, shampoos, clean towels, kitchen stocked with hot coco, coffee and automatic lights that light up as you approach the bathroom / kitchen area. The property is so large and there are many camp sites from covered car ports for rvs, campers to tent sites and open sites for rvs and campers. Rob and Mike gave us a tour of the ranch and introduced us to the farm animals the day we were leaving, took time out of their day refreshing the camp sites to accommodate us before we left. The only downside here was that we only booked a single night, we wish we had more time to stay and explore the ranch and the area. I cannot recommend Lucky U Ranch enough, my wife and I will definitely be back and stay longer so we can enjoy the property, trails and the free ranging animals that come visit your campsite. Thank you Rob and Mike, we see the passion the both of you put into everything on lucky u ranch! Hope to see you again soon!

We had such a great time at LuckyU Ranch. The property is beautiful and it had a very secluded feel. We enjoyed touring the farm and seeing all the animals. Also the bathrooms and showers were very nice. We would definitely recommend.

Wonderful place, wonderful hosts. Very family friendly and welcoming. Our host was kind enough to give us a mini-tour of the farm and Nigerian goats, and we enjoyed the horses and donkeys that roamed around the property. Terrific accommodations as well, with clean and new restrooms and showers. Even had a microwave and coffee station, which was great. Would enthusiastically recommend!

I loved this place. It was a beautiful site to camp on. We did the private gated site and it was huge, open and so beautiful. This site has a cover that you park under. This was so nice on the days it rained. I loved the hosts. They were so sweet and gave us lots of suggestions for things to do in the city. The animals are so friendly. 100% will come back here!

This one will be tough to beat!

This was our first experience booking a stay with hipcamp, and it's really going to be a tough one to beat! The stay at Rob and Mike's was incredible, and I'm sure we'll be comparing all of our future adventures to this one--it will be difficult to live up to! The RV was great, the grounds were spectacular, and the ranch experience Rob and Mike led us through was something the kids and I won't forget anytime soon. They're already asking when we can go back! I honestly can't think of anything they could have done to make the stay better...they nailed everything from the big-picture stuff to the nitty-gritty details. Truly a wonderful experience. I would (and have!) recommend this to everyone I know--especially those with kids!

Lucky U Rach

What a place. It deserves 10 stars instead of 5. Lucky U Rach, is a wonderful place to stay for camping and enjoying nature. They have 3 trails to walk. And the most amazing thing about the Rach is that they have animals to pet. We camped in a tent and woke up surrounded by horses, and donkeys. They also have showers, bathrooms, and an area where you can use a microwave, coffee maker, and sink. The farm is so well-maintained. The people are kind and nice. They even brought some carrots to my daughters so they could feed the horses. Their prices are super accessible. We have a site with water and electricity. If you are looking for a place to camp this is the spot.

Resort like feel

Lucky U Ranch has a resort like feel to it with impeccable outdoor bathrooms and morning coffee station. Greeted in the mornings by the donkeys and horses. There is plenty of room for walks and hiking the trails where we saw deer, fox tailed squirrels and the goats. Rob and Mike were very accommodating and have made the farm a beautiful experience.

Staying at Lucky You Ranch is having the best of both worlds: camping & glamping. You can still rough it out but also enjoy the amenities of a great wifi, well appointed /stocked kitchen, clean bathrooms & nice, comfortable showers. We savored being in the middle of the oak trees, greenery, nature & the animals (horses & donkeys) that roamed freely in the property. The owners were absolutely wonderful, proactive and very thoughtful. We couldn’t ask for better hosts and we cannot wait to go back to this campsite as well.

Our Family absolutely loved our stay! The campground was beautiful and peaceful, and all the attention to detail was amazing! We loved seeing the donkeys and horses come visit us every morning, it was the most fun way to start the day! We will for sure be back to stay again if we are ever traveling in the area.

This was our second time staying at Lucky U, and once again, it was a fantastic weekend. The abundance of shade made it easy to stay cool, even in the heat. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall comfort of our stay. One of the highlights was spending the afternoon with the friendly, free-roaming animals — especially feeding and petting the donkeys. A truly relaxing and enjoyable experience!

Wknd to family tradition @ Lucky U

What was meant to be a mother/daughter weekend getaway has turned into a family tradition thanks to Rob and Mike’s amazing accommodations and property! I live in Florida, in fact not far from this property and yet we felt like we were deep in the woods on a gorgeous property with awesome trails. The donkeys and horses are my daughter’s favorite. Oh and the farm tour, top notch! You can tell how much Rob and Mike love their animals, with 5 star accommodations for all their animals. Every moment at Lucky U Ranch has made precious memories we will cherish forever! Rob and Mike are the bests hosts and just awesome guys! You won’t be disappointed. Cant wait to book our next trip with them!
