We were fortunate to stay here on our first family RV camping trip and it did not disappoint! The hosts were wonderful and it was such a sweet memory for us. Would definitely come back and consider their VRBO property as well!

Not your ordinary ranch.. Lucky U ranch was such a spectacular place. The hosts were very welcoming and hospitable from the jump. The animals were a key element that made the stay so heartwarming. The horses alongside the donkeys were there to greet you in the morning. The outdoor showers and bathrooms were so well kept. The water was nice and hot. All the animals made it so much FUN! Would recommend and would come again

Spent a couple days and nights at Lucky U Ranch. Hosts Rob and Mike are great people. The place is well kept. Showers and restrooms are nice. Fire ring and picnic table at the site. The donkeys were fun to have around. They’re curious and unafraid. They’ll move along with a shooing if necessary (at their pace not yours). Horses on site, too. Highly recommend Lucky U Ranch. A bit of road noise from outside the property but went unnoticed most of the time. Looking forward to my next stay.

It’s A wo wonderful place. The hosts met us and escorted us to our site and told us everything we would need to know. Th The facilities are incredible, especially the outdoor shower. Towels and supplies included, coffee in the morning if you want it. The The horses came for a visit in the morning, which was exciting. We would love to come back and spend more time next time.
Absolutely beautiful place to stay, to bring your family, to enjoy the ranch animals and ranch life. I've stayed here before and I'll keep coming back because it's a wonderful experience.
This is a wonderful place to camp - a true Jewel for car/tent campers. It is spacious and beautiful. It's an awesome place to bring your family to enjoy the ranch animals. The owners were wonderfully gracious and very kind. They were very attentive and responsive. They provided a tour of the land and the animals, where I learned so much in such a small amount of time. The hot outdoor showers were amazing. They were very clean, equipped with towels, shampoo, and body wash. and decorated nicely. They have sinks, coffee bar and picnic tables and a pavilion with barbecue pits. This is definitely a favorite of mine that my adult kids actually want to visit. Be prepared to hear the donkeys and dogs at night - which is a true ranch living experience. Also be prepared for your campground to be raided by donkeys and horses which have now become an extended part of my family. Verizon 5G is very strong here.

Rob and Mike are amazing hosts. They went above and beyond to help us out and make us feel comfortable. The bathrooms and showers are great, the care for the facilities is awesome (always cleaned early in the morning) and we got to have a tour with the animals on Saturday. They also helped us out with unforeseen circumstances and helped us with a leaf blower, a vacuum cleaner and extension cord. Overall, great hosts, great place and experience. Would recommend it to anyone!
Our stay was great! Better than imagined. The camp was peaceful and the animals were delightful. The donkeys were very gentle. Visiting with newly born goats was a treat. We appreciate Rob & Mike's extra attention to our needs/requests. The camping spot was perfect. We're looking at our calendar to plan our next visit.

We can't recommend staying at Lucky U Ranch enough! We booked their RV option for a group of 5 and had ample space. We happened to book at the same time as a very large group, so they were kind enough to move us to an area with a little more privacy. Any questions we had were promptly answered, with Mike and Rob going so far as offering driving to get additional items for us! We had an issue getting our oven to work, so they had a nearby staff member, Kim, come and help us. She was so kind and accommodating with us, a true rockstar. The animals and land are very obviously well cared for and loved, and we had an absolute blast doing the ranch tour. We also enjoyed exploring the 3 different trails they have :) The pavilion with showers, toilets, and an outdoor kitchen for the tent camping area was well maintained, and some of our group actually chose using those facilities over the one in the RV as it was so comparable. Our group had the same consensus leaving- we had the most amazing and relaxing trip ever, and it was all due to the great care the hosts put into the experience!

We had a blast this past weekend staying at the Lucky U Ranch! Mike and Rob are absolutely incredible and amazing hosts. They have thought of everything possible for every camper’s needs in a campground~ attention and care is placed into every detail. We met all the farm animals and it truly was great bonding experience for our family. The RV accommodation we rented was clean, well-stocked, and had everything we needed. This wonderful place truly 100 % deserves to be in a top spot in Hipcamp’s Top Places to visit!
Rob and Mike were very nice and made sure everything was going well. It was an easy check in process and let me check in early to get set up before some rain came in. The facilities were nice and had towels and soap in shower. They had a nice kitchen area as well. Definitely one of the best Hipcamps I have stayed at!

Our stay was extremely enjoyable and comfortable. Rob and Mike were excellent hosts and made sure we had everything we needed. The animals were friendly and fun to pet and feed. The farm tour on Saturday morning was very informative and I actually learned a thing or two. There is plenty of space to roam and we saw deer each evening in addition to the farm animals
We Love this place ao much, An excellent place to camp—it’s quiet, and when you wake up, you see donkeys, horses, and deer. The bathrooms are something else—I absolutely loved them. Rob and Mike are great hosts; they meet you at the entrance, guide you to your spot, and explain everything. Plus, they have lovely little items for sale. If you’re looking for a place to relax, this is the best one.
Excellent experience, again! This time we rented their RV as ours wasn’t available to use. The RV was super clean and well stocked! Mike and Rob and kind and informative and the farm tour is always one of our favorite experiences! Last but not least the public bathrooms and showers are super clean! Thanks again for another amazing trip!

We stayed in our RV at one of their two RV spots....its was great. This was easily the quietest and most serene spot we've ever camped. If you are looking to get away from any signs or sounds of humanity, this is your place. Mike & Rob were great and they offered a tour of the property and introduced us to all of their livestock. What a great experience....would highly recommend.

Great spot, very nice amenities and people. We woke up to donkeys in our camping spot, loved it! It stormed pretty badly so we didn’t get to camp much outside of the car, but they were very nice to inform us of weather warnings sent out by the county.

My family and I loved tent camping at Rob and Mike’s property. It was very serene and beautiful. We loved the animals wandering about and the hospitality of Rob and Mike. Would definitely stay there again!

Rob & Mike were excellent hosts! The “Far Away” site has excellent views of the night sky and surrounding woods. Sighted owls, fawn, all sorts of interesting insects, and the horses came to visit one morning. The pavilion was clean and well kept. Loved the trails and the farm tour too!

We had the most amazing stay at Lucky U Ranch! Robin and Mike are incredible hosts who genuinely care about their guests and have created such a peaceful, welcoming place. The property is quiet, secluded, gated, and feels very safe—exactly what we were looking for. We needed air for our camper tires during our stay, and they were kind enough to bring over an air compressor to help us out without hesitation.
The ranch is full of friendly animals, including goats, pigs, miniature horses, horses, donkeys, turkeys, and ducks, which made our stay even more special. There are marked walking trails, and it’s incredibly dog-friendly, making it perfect for traveling with pets. We even got a tour of their ranch which was awesome!
The amenities were fantastic, especially for RVers. We had full hookups, access to clean showers, potable water, and a cozy community pavilion with a coffee bar. Everything was well-maintained and thoughtfully set up.
It’s easy to see why Lucky U Ranch was named one of Hipcamp’s Top 50 campgrounds in the U.S. We loved every minute of our week here and can’t recommend it enough. If you’re looking for a quiet escape with wonderful hosts, beautiful scenery, and plenty of animals to love, this is the place. We can’t wait to come back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
