Homosassa is an old Florida fishing town that is a hidden gem along the gulf coast, this site is nestled quietly at the head of the river. This location is close to Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park where you can discover the wild side of Florida with endangered Florida panther, red wolf, manatee and whooping crane, plus black bear, bobcat and, of course, alligator. The site is located 150 ft from the dock on our private residential property at the head of the springs. This is a residential area and is very quiet.  This listing is for the SITE ONLY. Setup your own RV under the shade then enjoy our shared dock with direct access into the Homosassa springs for a refreshing dip or paddle. We provide full hookups (water, sewer, 50amp electric) for your RV as well as WIFI service and access to the docks for your boat or swimming. We have kayaks and paddleboards INCLUDED with our site or bring your own to paddle the springs and take a chance at seeing a manatee up close and personal or catching some fish. The campsite was perfect! Hookups were very easy and accessible. Beautiful grounds. And the spring water was amazing!

We loved staying at Alonda’s camp site. Spent a lot of our time on the water watching Manatees swim. Very peaceful area. Will definitely be back!

Great camping spot! We enjoyed getting out on the river and saw lots of manatees. It's a very beautiful private area in the head spring and the azaleas were blooming so that was an added bonus.

Always a pleasure being at y’all’s Crib ! Beautiful scenery, Macreas restaurant was killing it . Got there right before band cranked up around 4:00 ! Love the area and y’all are awesome ! Thanks and Peace be with you guys ! Love from The Sutton’s

Alan and Alonda have a beautiful site right on the water. Kayaks and paddle boards were the perfect way to travel on the water and we floated with the manatees our first voyage! Took a drive to Inverness on Saturday for the 46 mile bike trail. Lovely. And an hour or so away to the town of St. Petersburg. The Wildlife park nextdoor was great too. Highly recommend
