Our Horse Farm is a place of Peaceful Reflection, thus the name, ELET Horse Ranch - Eagles Landing Equine Therapy.
It is a Place where Friends and Family gather. Farm was developed with Lots of Love and is a place of Refuge and Quiet Relaxation.
Mark and Teresa are our Caretakers and take Excellent Care of Guests, the Horse Herd, Flock of Chickens, Farm Cottage and Beautiful Pastures.
Eagles Landing is the Perfect Place to get away from it all. We understand that even the Majestic Eagle needs a place to Rest.
Turn Left into the First Gate at Eagles Landing. The Front Pasture on the North Side of the Outdoor Shower is where you can park your Camper, 5th Wheel, Gooseneck or RV.
I absolutely loved Kim and James' cottage. It was so comfortable, perfectly clean and equipped (a Kurig, french press and coffee pot for example), loving touches everywhere and sweet horses right next to the cottage. Arranged for a horseback ride with Candice which was perfect (make sure to book with Candice 2 weeks in advance or more). Took a hike from the cottage to a little stream and saw a bear track along with bunnys and racoons. Not too far from the beach, we went down to Navarre and had a great day and also went paddle boarding on Blackwater river. I will defintely be returning!
Welcoming and down to earth.
The horses are your welcome committee.
The hosts are welcoming and accommodating.
Peaceful & quiet all areas neat and clean daily.
We loved our 2 night stay here. There's one RV site. It's level, easy in & out, pull-thru. You park next to an outhouse with flushable toilet - great if you don't have a bathroom with you. There's a spacious outdoor shower, too!
The camp host was *very* nice. He didn't bother us on our exhausted late-night arrival. Just said a friendly hello when he saw my husband outside the next day. We took a brief walk & said hello to the horses (following the rules to not feed them & use caution). One horse & onw donkey were super-friendly.
It rained during our stay but the ground wasn't muddy when we left.
One important note: be sure to use the Waze map option on HipCamp once you get off the 87 highway. Google maps is *terrible* in this rural area. It told us to turn onto streets that weren't there & had us going in circles on small streets that were difficult to turn around/back up on. The minute I switched to Waze, we found our way quickly!
Thanks for a great stay!!
Kim and James are some of the greatest humans we have got the pleasure to come across. ELET is truly a hospital. Not only did they build the place out by themselves, but they also truly care about each person that stays on their properties. They along with the caretakers; Mark and Theresea made sure we had everything we needed and much more. James and Kim took the time to come and spend their afternoon with us one evening. Truly embracing us as if we were family. I cannot express how much you need to go and stay at any of their properties. They are LIGHT in a dark world. Check out all their properties! I am glad the good Lord directed us to stay at ELET. I cannot wait to return and help give back to this amazing hosts/family.
