Tranquil peaceful vacation

Destination Sunset
Destination Sunset was all that we expected and more. We stayed 5 nights with a 32’ camper. The large cement pad gave us room to set up the camper and really stretch out for outdoor movies, relaxing, and enjoying the view.
The lot is secure where we felt safe to let our 3 mini-schnauzers roam and explore without losing sight of them.
They had plenty of room to run and play. The host was very kind and helpful. There was firewood already split for us to use for a small additional fee.
The lot was easy to find and absolutely beautiful. There are mature trees with Spanish moss hanging everywhere. There is plenty of shade. String lights and a security light provide just the right amount of light once the sun goes down.
This was by far the nicest site we have ever stayed at. The sunsets are breathtaking. The Adirondack chairs around the fire pit is the perfect place to watch the sky light up over the water. We had a great vacation and will definitely stay here again in the future.

What an amazing camping spot! Better than we even expected and we’ve already booked our next trip. Many more visits to come! Super easy to find as well.
The space was great, full hook up for the camper was great, the fenced in acre yard for the pups was great, the views are incredible, ability to fish, paddle board, relax on the dock, launch a boat if you have one or use the canoe and kayaks they have! The peaceful mornings, days and nights by the campfire plus firewood access. Literally everything was wonderful. I can’t say enough good things!
To top it off, Tim and his wife were very kind, accommodating and helpful in every way needed. There’s also access to a Publix and other shopping that’s not too far away if needed. This will be our regular camping spot. Keep in mind..the pictures in my review aren’t filtered. The views were just this perfect! Thanks again for everything Tim! We can’t wait to come back!

This location is truly a hidden gem and a peaceful paradise! We enjoyed the a spectacular sunset and cannot wait to visit again. The place was perfect for dogs, easy to access, and enjoyed the relaxing set up (very comfortable chairs!!).

Couldn’t ask for a better campsite! A true gem of a hipcamp - Private lot in a lovely quiet neighborhood right on the water. Level concrete parking pad, full hookups, incredible view, fantastic fishing, insane wildlife, and even a ridiculously friendly neighborhood cat. We had many dolphin sightings, caught whiting and red drum from the dock, and even were shocked by a river otter one evening while we were enjoying the stunning sunset. To top it all off, the host Tim was so kind and welcoming. Do yourself a favor and book!!

This site wins for best views, sunsets, and most accommodating with plenty of outdoor space to enjoy, kayaks, private boat launch and dock. Under gorgeous oaks and close to too many destinations to name from Georgia beaches to Jacksonville. Definitely recommend highly

What a gorgeous spot. I was immediately regretful that I only booked one night. Timothy was great - available though the app even when I was trying to locate the spot. I was distracted looking at house numbers and missed the giant hipcamp sign lol. My dog and I thoroughly enjoyed a peaceful night and morning, and next time I’ll be bringing my paddle board and staying a few more days. Highly recommend this beautiful spot on the water.

We loved everything about our stay at Destination Sunset. The campsite was even better than the photos - absolutely gorgeous. The neighborhood was quiet, safe, and the roads in and out were easy in our 33’ class A. Tim is an amazing host, and all the neighbors we encountered were super friendly. Tim even loaned my husband the proper lure for fishing - no success with reds, but he caught a ton of catfish and had a blast. We can’t wait to come back. Thanks, Tim!

Everything was perfect. The site was clean, lots of room, waterfront, boat dock and ramp… Just everything was perfect. Beautiful sunsets, great fishing from the dock at night. Our host was great and very helpful. We will definitely camp here again

Tim’s site is breathtaking! It truly is beautiful, peaceful, private, and feels like an island getaway. Reservations were easy and straightforward. Tim is a great communicator and was immediately responsive to questions and requests. Our 2 dogs love the huge free-range, fenced yard. They had a great time running around and we also enjoyed walking the yard. It is beautifully landscaped and very lush. We had a really wonderful time and are already planning our return to this gem!

We loved and truly enjoyed our stay at this camp site. This property is beautiful and well maintained. Tim and the neighbors are very friendly and welcoming. The views, fishing, and kayak/canoe activities were awesome here! Our kids already want to go back and the dogs really enjoyed running around freely in the fenced in property. Highly recommended this campsite and we hope to return soon!

We had a wonderful time! Tim was very responsive and met us when we arrived. It was easy to get parked and set up. He does a great job maintaining the property. We enjoyed sitting on the dock and watching the sunset in the evenings. We look forward to staying again!

We booked this spot to celebrate my birthday. It is our favorite Hipcamp place that we’ve ever visited! The property is unbelievably gorgeous with everything you need to make your camping stay perfect. Tim was extremely fast to reply to my questions. We watched dolphins each morning and evening and the fishing was the best. It was very relaxing and we can’t wait to return. Our doggos absolutely loved the free range fun. I have to admit that the star of the trip was meeting the neighbors, Scott and Kelly. They graciously invited us over for cocktails and let our pups run in their yard. They took us out on their beautiful dock to fish. Truly, rare humans! We loved the camping but also can’t wait to go back and see our new friends! Can’t recommend this place enough. Who would think this is Jax?

First of all, the camp site is beautiful and on a 3/4 acre of fenced property equipped with hook ups, canoes, a fishing dock and complete privacy. If you’re looking for a place that is both quiet and beautiful, this is for your. My kids spent their day catching blue crab, they caught 14 in total. We also enjoyed fishing and canoeing. I can’t wait to come back and highly recommend staying here. Tim was a wonderful and kind host.

My family and I had the best time here! The property is absolutely beautiful, private, clean and quiet. My kids spent their day catching gorgeous blue crab (they caught 14) and fishing. Tim is the best host and very kind. We enjoyed using the canoe as well. The fenced property was perfect for our dog. I’m looking forward to coming back!

Destination Sunset was the nicest Hip Camp we've visited. The grounds are beautiful with towering trees dripping with Spanish Moss. Watching the water was so peaceful and we saw dolphins and a flock of flamingos flew over our heads. Our pup.wqs in heaven with the ability to run free and swim. Tim was friendly and communication was great. Highly recommend!!

What a beautiful setup. Stunning view both front and back. Clean. For dog owners, it's a paradise for our furry friends being able to run free on the 3/4 acre groomed yard. No low or high places in the iron fence that is plenty tall for a large dog. Easy in and back out in our 32' 5th wheel. Tim poked his head over the fence to say hello after we were set up and, of course, offered his assistance for anything we needed. We felt very safe, nice hood, and enjoyed the privacy this gorgeous site offers. Highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Destination Sunset. It’s a beautiful spot, very quiet and relaxing. The host is friendly & helpful, but not intrusive. My husband was excited everyday to fish off the dock. He caught trout and redfish. Fishing was by far his favorite thing about our stay.

We love camping and are always looking for good spots we would visit again. This is definitely it! The RV hookups were fully-functional and the area around the campsite was clean. The view is spectacular at all hours, but especially at sunset. Next time we will be bringing our rods and our kids. Would recommend and will be back again!

Plenty of room for our 38 ft class A, Jeep and bikes. We had a wonderful time, had an awesome fire many beautiful sunsets! We took the kayaks out at no additional charge which was really nice. You get an entire fenced in lot on the water, with a private pier.Easy in and easy out. Tom is very nice and easy going!

Even after seeing the great reviews Timothy’s site surprised us. The property is beautifully maintained and has everything you might want to make a wonderful stay. Shortly after setting up we had a spectacular sunset.

Destination Sunset is a little piece of heaven on earth. The name says it all. Amazing sunset's ! The property is well kept and very welcoming to guests. Prime location for kayaking and wildlife viewing. Just don't forget your bug spray. The host Timothy is very nice. I highly recommend this hip camp for a reset and recharge from the stresses of everyday life...

Perfect as always. This was our second stay at Destination Sunset, and I predict many future stays. Quiet, private and beautiful grounds. Good fishing from the dock, but bring plenty of bug spray. Fenced property so our fur babies can roam and run. Wonderful neighbors and everyone is so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!
