Welcome to Bohemian Freedom Park! We’re excited to welcome you to our property, which is just under 8 acres. Our space is totally private, fenced in, and features a clean swimming hole with a beach!  About the property Our property is near Kissimmee Prairie Preserve State Park and Lake Okeechobee.  If you’re looking for places to visit for the day or services nearby, you can head to Okeechobee, which is only 20 min away. Lake Placid is only 40 min, Vero Beach is only 1 hr, and Melbourne is 1 hr 30 min.  All of the listed locations offer great opportunities for fishing, hunting, swimming, and beach hangouts. Each of the sites allows for watching the livestock, hanging out at the watering hole, and sitting around the communal campfire. Our favorite things about our property are privacy, amenities, and all of the roaming mini livestock throughout the property! Your hosts do not live onsite however, will be available to you during your visit. We are friendly and as non-invasive as we can be. We do love meeting our guests and are available for any questions that come up. Our primary purpose when developing this property was to create a safe space for children with special needs and their families. We are a no judgment zone and adhere to Hipcamp's inclusion policy. About the listing: This listing is for a day trip, or a back-to-your-roots, overnight tent camping trip. Guests will choose their dry-camping location after a tour of the property. Nice place to spend a night camping. Lots of farm animals and open areas to walk around. Cute kitties too. Host was very nice and brought us his equipment to make a fire at night. You can see so many stars at night, beautiful.

Great Spot Near Hikes!

Loved this spot! We were able to tent camp on their land and enjoy all of the sweet silly animals. Bobbi was so sweet and accomidating! During the day we went out on hikes in the nearby kissimmee prairie preserve state park and at night we laid out on the trampoline an looked at the stars (even saw a few shooting ones!).

It's a sweet funky spot off the beaten path. The hosts are so friendly and accommodating. An animal lover's gem; they have goat's, mini cows, pigs, chickens, horses, mini horses, donkeys, a water Buffalo, and emus! My children loved interacting with the friendly animals and floating on kayaks in the pond.

What a cool place! Bobi and Jim were great with the communication, highly recommend! Loved the dip in the pond before the sun went down and the kitties and emu were very friendly. Will definitely return in the future.

Wonderful experience! Highly recommend👍🏻 Jim and Bobby were extremely accommodating and welcoming. The animals were all friendly and I’ll have their own personalities. A great getaway for a family or a couple.

A beautiful get away, my second time back and already planning another trip! Bobi was amazing and was always able to help us out if we needed it. Definitely recommend for animal lovers or just anyone who needs a nice relaxed vacation

I had the most amazing weekend here! Everyone I encountered was so kind and helpful. I had just the right amount of privacy and solitude but I could also chat over coffee in the mornings. The animals are a once in a lifetime experience I needed!

Our family had a great time camping at the Farm and hanging with the animals for the morning on our trip from SC to Key West. We all loved the baby goats, cats, and the awesome water buffalo and horses. The goats were hilarious. We will be back at some point to check in again!

Awesome time at Bohemian Freedom!! The host Bobbie is an amazing soul…so warm and friendly, an absolute delight to have met. My partner and I tent camped right by the pond and had an amazing view of the whole property. The animals on the land are very friendly and even was able to sit and pet the baby goats (adorable). Oh and the nice sky is truly stunning. You can see the all stars so clearly. We will definitely be back!

One of the best experiences in all of my hipcamp experiences! It was a convenient stop to our destination. Host Randy wassuper inviting, the farm animals became our friends- Randy and owner Jim too! The homemade shower was AMAZING! We will definitely be back!

We LOVED staying at Bohemian Freedom Ranch. Jim was such a welcoming host and took time to show us around when we arrived. He was completely accessible the whole stay! The farm is awesome and hilarious - if you’re looking to have an up close and personal experience with farm animals and some exotic friends (emus), this is the place. All of the animals were friendly and curious, but don’t have any sense of personal space ;) There’s a shower, common area with a kitchen, multiple outdoor hangout spots made of reclaimed materials, and endless fun with the critters. We highly highly recommend the ranch!!!

we loved tent camping on jim and bobbi’s farm. they were extremely communicative and friendly hosts. the land was beautiful and the animals were extremely friendly. one of my favorite camping trips in a while. cant wait to go back!

Jim was the best host I have encountered through the many platforms that I use for travel and vacation! This place is definitely a 10/10! Best camping experience, great for family time, or just a peaceful break! The animals were amazing and super friendly especially with my children ages 11,9,9,8 and 2! We over enjoyed our time here and didn’t want to leave! Miss Bobbie was single handedly a god send! She was amazing from A to Z can’t wait to see you guys this Jan!

Camping here was one of the most awesome experiences I've ever had. I swam with a water buffalo, a goose and an emu! So much fun, can't wait to take my kids next time. Jim and staff were super friendly and the animals were so interactive and loved attention it was just wonderful!

If you like friendly farm animals this is the place to come. It's private without all the lights and road noise one gets almost everywhere. Bobie was very accommodating and always available to assist.

Hosts are fantastic and the most adorable, good natured animals ever! They had a platform they let us use to pinch our tents on and even a "people play-pen" we could use when we cooked outside with a hammock. Cooled off in the pond with Ms. Chrissy ( the goose), hung out with loveable bambam ( the water buffalo) cuddled and played with Radar ( baby goat) and can't forget curious Archie (goat) and all the other amazing cute animals. If your looking for a bit of animal and nature therapy this is your place. We very much enjoyed ourselves and will be back!!

Nice quiet property with so much character! They have free range farm animals that are just a joy to be around and so curious There's a community shop/building with a kitchen, sink, pool table, couches, TV, table, outlets. Played pool last night with one of the hosts and had a great time. There's a fenced in area so the animals don't invade your bubble attached to the community building where you can BBQ, lounge in the hammock, or eat at the outdoor tables I camped on the far field that had electric hook ups, and an outdoor show, nice quiet area by myself. Day outside to watch the sun come up and had pigs, an Emu, goats, and donkeys all come right up to my chair to see what I was up to. I would absolutely stay here again. This property is unique, quirky, friendly, and quiet.

Best Petting Zoo ever! We stayed amongst the sweet rescued animals. We are impressed with how well cared for these creatures are. Bobi works tirelessly and has a great relationship with each and every one…. Anyone who has time to volunteer should also think about taking on a maintenance task as the place needs a little TLC and not enough hands. Great experience!!!

Myself, my wife and sister in law, all enjoyed our stay at Jim's place. Loved the Bohemian Vibe and welcome we received. It was a little tough to find. With Bobbis guidance we got in and settled. Loved the clear sky and the different animals. Highly recommend a few nites stay.

A Dream! I couldn't have asked for a better FARM Camping weekend. B.H is amazing. Jim the owner and Bobi the manager were so welcoming and great!. We just discovered HIPCAMP and will be using it more, def hoping to visit this place again! When I found this place I started reading about it only to discover that this farm is an all INCLUSION place which means that everyone is welcome especially those with special needs families.( No Judgement) & That touched my heart! My 18 year old Alex is autistic and we were afraid he would stim or run behind the animals but... they understood. Bobi even taught Alex the animals names and he loved it! My almost 3 year old didn't want to leave.!!! This place was so cool and I will recommended it to everyone especially those families that have special need loved ones... It was very therapeutic and the sunrise and sunsets were amazing. We took our little camper and it was perfect! Can't wait to be back!!!!! Thank you so much for having us! The facility is so cool, they have the coolest shower btw. They also have a bathroom which was great!. Place is Magical! Thank you for your hospitality guys! Can't wait to come back & meet Jack! ;)

Amazing! Truly a magical place. And incredible experience to get to interact with so many animals. The pond was so much fun, it was peaceful and Bobby and Jim were both very nice and accommodating. We will be back!

This is the best hipcamp I have ever stayed at! Wow the experience is a mix of off grid and camping hut paradise. There are beautiful sweet farm animals to help facilitate feds as well! The hosts were extraordinary hosts! They are so accommodating and also well traveled and versed. My favorite part was the cold swimming hippie hole, oh no.. or maybe the fact that I felt like I was part of some kind of Hunter S. Thompson rogue private bungalow... To be continued for sure! :)

I'm so glad we found Bohemian Freedom! I will definitely be coming back, hopefully on my way back home in about 3 weeks. This is an eclectic, evolving, and really fun place to Camp! We just pitched a small tent near the pond beach. Came in kinda late, but Bobi was totally great showing us where we could park, and then gave us the grand tour of everything and all the animals in the morning. This is a paradise for animal lovers! I look forward to seeing how this property changes!

RETURN VISIT PLANNED! Our stay at Bohemian Freedom was truly amazing and we will be back in just a few weeks. Jim and Bobi are very laid back, hospitable, and were available if we needed anything. The farm animals were very friendly and it was super cool to have them come over and say hi throughout our stay. I think the donkeys were my favorite, but the baby water buffalo was absolutely adorable! We bottle-fed him and even joined him in a swim. The "people barn" was air conditioned and was available for guests to enjoy, also providing a kitchen for guest use and fresh coffee. The surrounding area is very rural with a convenience store not too far away and with very little light pollution, the moon and stars were mesmerizing. Thank you Bohemian Freedom for a relaxing and tranquil weekend, we will see you soon!
